It took quite a bit more effort to put up than suggested but we are very pleased with the end result. A few little things like the wood not being cut for the extra window made for significant additional work as we have the fully insulated cabin. We used the supplied paint which has produced a pleasing result.

Really pleased you like your log cabin. Additional optional extra windows are available to buy in addition to the normal log cabin windows and the walls aren't cut for these extra additional windows. The benefit is that customer can then put these extra windows wherever they like. The only downside is that you do need to cut some logs, but we hope it was worth it for being able to customise your cabin. ian morgan - Apr 24, 2012
WELL IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE LOG CABIN SO WERE BUILDERS WHO ERECTED THE CABIN. MANY PEOPLE HAVE SEEN THE CABIN SINCE AND THERE COULD BE FURTHER ORDERS FOR OTHER PRODUCTS IN THE AREA. WELL DONE DUNSTER. ALL THE BEST IAN.

Delivery on time, huge amounts of wood and a daunting task laid out! However, once sorted it looked more bearable and we had the whole cabin built and finished inside a weekend. The base, walls, floor, roof, windows, doors all went together very easily and quickly - definitely a two man job, however. The roof covering (green shingles) looks great but took HOURS to align and make good. There were just enough shingles...
Now the cabin is completed and treated it looks like it should always have been there - a really great enhancement to both home and garden, providing that extra quiet space not really possible indoors. Adding a cheap wipe-clean laminate floor over the raw softwood has increased its practicality. Superb quality, good instructions, great product. Highly recommended.

Firstly, I have to say that I was very pleased with the cabin.I found that delivery was friendly and helpful when unloading.I put the cabin up more or less single handed and found it easy to assemble.It took about 3 days.Instructions were on the whole good.The only issue I had was with the covering of the roof which I chose roofing felt which you supplied,but I thought the instructions for fitting the felt a bit unclear as they tried to include different types of cabin.I was not sure that sticking down the edges on the lower edges above the guttering would be sufficient without using nails but it seems OK. I thought the idea of one or two key spare sections that were included in the kit a very good idea , just in case of a mistake in assembly or damage. The quality of the timber was excellent throughout and so was the precision of the sizing and jointing of the parts which made assemble very straight forward.
I would not hestitate to recommend this product to anyone.If I need any other garden structures in the future i will be looking to see your products first.One may paid a bit more for your products but the quality of product and service show through .
