With this in mind, being the Largest UK Log Cabin and Climbing Frame Company we decided to combine 2 of our most popular products to bring you the ultimate playhouse. We have years of experience providing the UK public with a large variety of Timber Climbing Frames and similar garden products and we are pulling yet another fantastic product out of our sleeve. The EcoPlay Lodge is 2.5 metres by 2.5 metres and an astounding 3 metres high, allowing your kids to get lost in their own little world of fun and games.

GET THEM GREEN FROM AN EARLY AGE A fully insulated construction holds in the heat, keeping those bills down. Or at least it would, if there were any bills! Solar Air Heating and Solar lighting illuminate children’s play time and keeps them out the cold, all without effecting the environment.
QUALITY DESIGN AND MATERIALS This British product is designed by our very own team of experts who are usually much more at home designing Office spaces, or Artist’s Studios buried at the end of the garden. Made of the same Slow Grown Spruce timber and insulated with the same highly efficient Foil-Backed polyurethane as our Log Cabins, the quality of the materials and the design is unmatched.
SAFETY FIRST With the toughened glass, the 12v wiring system and complaint to EN71 standards, we've designed the EcoPlay Lodge to be safe as well as fun.
COLOR AND STYLE OF YOUR LIKING Like all of our beautiful log cabins, the unique EcoPlay Lodge comes with the option of many different treatments to enhance and personalise your playhouse. We’ve added the same high quality spiral slide that is featured on some of our most popular climbing frames, and Diamond Lead Duoble Glazed windows for that authentic house look.
With this item we apply the wood preservative once the EcoPlay Lodge is installed.

Our Timber Products
All our products are completely unique to Dunster House and are manufactured by our dedicated factories.
Log Cabins and other garden products are typically made from 2 types of softwood – Redwood (Pine) or Whitewood (Spruce). We make our products using whitewood, as, despite being more expensive it is considered to be more stable against warps and splits than redwood.
Our timber is responsibly sourced from cold northern regions where the timber grows slowly. We all know the old adage of counting the rings to see how old a tree is. Well our timber grows slower, takes longer to get to size and so has more rings in it. This means it is tighter grained, as each ring helps prevent cracks and shakes appearing in the timber.
Spruce is a whitewood, which is generally considered more stable as it expands and contracts less than Pine, which a lot of our competition use. If you live in a timber frame house the timber framing is highly likely to be spruce as the construction industry has long understood the superiority of spruce over pine in their requirement for a stable, strong softwood as they don't want service calls from cracked plasterwork as the timber moves behind it.

Our showrooms ensure that you have an opportunity to see, touch and get a feel for our products before purchase. We are not an internet-only company; a lot of internet companies do not have show sites or a registered address beyond a PO Box. Buying on the internet certainly has its advantages but ensure a company is prepared to back this service up by spending time answering questions and showing you around. Even if you decide to forego this part, it’s reassuring to know there’s no veil between what’s being offered on the internet and its reality.
