Garage arrived on time and we unloaded it on to the base, the driver and his mate were very helpful and placed all parts as required.
They also offered some advice and tips.
My son and i began sorting through and started building, by the end of day one we had the sides up and roof beams in place all secure,
The instructions are not the best i have seen and you need to study them in detail to avoid mistakes, i also watched various clips on youtube and studied the pictures on Dunster house web site.
A few mistakes were made but easily rectified, The roof was a long job and it took me 3 days to complete, this was largely due to my knees getting sore and i was on my own and had to keep going up and down the ladder.
The shingles are quite heavy and you need to really plan how you start as this determines how you finish.
Overall i really enjoyed assembling my garage and would do it again.

The Deore 400 garage/workshop is amazing, my parent want to live in it! It took myself and my husband (experienced DIY-ers) 2 days to erect the building including base, 1 day roofing, 1 day roof tiling, 4 days painting inside and out. I recommend No Nonsense water repellant from Screwfix to protect all the timber before building. Once completed we use painted 2 coats of Culprinol Shades Paint and it looks fantastic and very expensive. Definately recommend the double glazing, guttering and roof tile optional extras. Very pleased with the results.

My shed is excellant. Easy to put together using the clear assembly plans supplied with the shed. My only complaint is the poor quality (thin) roof felt which I've had to replace with a better quality (thicker)
Dunster House comment:
Dear Mr. Gregory, Thank you for your review, we are so pleased that you are happy with the Log Cabin you purchased from us. We are sorry to hear about your disappointment with the shed felt. We offer felt as an option to people as the lowest cost way of covering the roof of their cabin and because other cabin manufacturers also offer it. We would always recommend that customer’s instead purchase our Roofing Shingles, which are considerably thicker, harder wearing, more durable and more attractive to look at than roofing felt.
