This Solar Air Heater unit is not connected to the Grid.
The Compact Standard Solar Air Heater and Solar Air Dehumidifier is to be mounted vertically on a wall.
Our Solar Air Heating Systems do not recycle existing stale air; they always introduce fresh outside air.

This smaller unit operates at approximately 65% of the Standard Solar Air Heater heat generation and is suitable for smaller applications such as canal boats or small static homes. The normal function as a warm air dehumidifier still functions during the winter months.

Our Standard Compact unit uses Solar Radiation Energy to power a fan that draws external fresh air over an aluminium sheet incorporating a special solar radiation absorbing coating. This pre-warmed air provides a "Positive Pressure Ventilation" system that is used to assist in warming a property and acts as a dehumidifier by forcing warmed air from the property through any number of air leakage areas.

Prototypes of the Standard MK2 Solar Air Heater unit have been extensively trialled and tested at our Bedford Factory over the last 2 years and we have achieved results of warming external air of 5 degrees Celsius up to 35 Degrees Celsius at the inlet point with a fan speed, during reasonably sunny weather, of 140CFM (cubic feet per minute). On one of the warmer days in the UK, 19 August 2009, we observed a result from the outside air temperature of 32 Degrees Celsius and an input air temperature of 64 Degrees Celsius from an Irradiation level of 1200W/m², this equates to approximately 1.8Kw/h for the Standard MK2 unit.
