ABOUT
Consisting of a simple 1/2 barrel metal firebox topped off with a heater plate this will provide sufficient heating and cooking requirements in a disaster situation. It's use is not limited to this function as it can be used as a Multi-fuel camping stove or as an alternative to non-eco gas appliances in leisure activities.
Our HopeStove kit comes complete with a
side warming shelf as standard and the option of either
1.6m of single skin stove pipe or with
1.6m single skin stove pipe PLUS a double insulted skin flue pipe for a 'through a wall' application for up to
160mm thickness, or for potential use in a tent.
2 x 45 degree bends are also included in the Complete Kit. An internal removable hearth allows for cleaning away fire ash and residue, when cold.
The Stove Pipe comes with a simple damper that
reduces heat-loss and
increases the efficiency of the heating ability of the stove by around 10%. An adjustable air vent is positioned on the front of the firebox door to feed the fire with air. Using dry kindling the heater plate reaches temperatures in excess of
300 degrees Celsius.
INSTALLATION
The installation must comply with current Building Regulation 'J', Local Authority Bye-Laws, European and National standards and any other specifications as they affect the installation of the stove.
It is your responsibility as an installer or end user to comply with the appropriate standards.
MANUFACTURING
We manufacture this product in our own related engineering factory in Hungary and transport it to the UK for use.

Many towns and Cities in the UK have Smoke Control Areas so check with your local authority if this stove and your chosen fuel can be used.
