my cabin has ended up an awsome hi fi music room at the end of my garden and have shown lots of people who are looking to do the same the insulation value on thick size wood and insulated floor and roof is amazing too costing very little to heat ( i often only leave on 4 50watt halogen spots one in each corner overnight) feb to april so far and its ok when you walk in in morning
my top tip is to read instructions very carefully if you have extra options as you get sent all the wood for all options and very easy to pick up what appears the right one but its not !!!! slightly better instructions would definatly help
wood is very good quality single piece (ie no joins ) and spare bits a very good idea i had a couple that i could have forced to fit but with spares , no probs just used those

Absolutely delighted with our cabin in the garden, it was a display model and included insulation in the walls and roof, I provided floor insulation. For balanced design this should have been included. The design is sound and it was easy to construct. It faces south so has the benefit of warmth from the sun even during the early months of the year and stays warm well into the evening, the wood looks good and the exposed beams are deep; adequate, and help the appearance.
The support from HQ was immediate and provided by staff who knew their jobs.
There is a problem with the door design and I will ask Dunster House for their help. I was told before I paid that doors had been left open and rain direct to the inside facehad caused mould. The reason for the mould is that, when shut, rain water blown against the outside front wood panels has no escape and therefore penetrates to inside. Although a relatively minor point his needs correction.
An excellent cabin.

Very pleased with the cabin and sauna we purchased from Dunster House. Delivery and installation went smoothly, delivery driver and 3 x installers very efficient and helpful, a great day's work! Had no problems with the cabin since it's installation and have really enjoyed the sauna. Having the sauna inside the cabin is a great bonus compared to having another external building. We would recommend Dunster House as a great company to deal with for good quality affordable cabins.

Excellent company to deal with, communication and customer service fantastic, from placing order to delivery of modetro 450 log cabin.
Log cabin and all components are of a very high standard and the finished product is outstanding.
Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing a log cabin.

Excellent product, easy pleasant transaction, delivery driver very helpful, timber of good quality. Installed myself with a bit of help from my wife, went up without a hitch. Upgraded to 28mm double glazing and shingle roof which is well worth the extra money.
