Do not buy fromm this company. I purcahsed a cabin from them and had a problem with the glazed window unit. When i picked it up from where it had been stored, it went bang in my hands and shattered. I had not dropped it or knocked it. The unit just went in my hands. I have contacted customer services, what a waste of time and effort. They are not the least bit intreasted, will not give you any phone numbers or let you talk to a manager of the company. Phoned the sales number, again no help. Would not let me talk to a manager, told to buy new unit and pay delivery. I was even informed that all i had done was waste 10 minutes of my time and money in calling them. What arrogance. On there website, they call them selves a nice family business, not if you have a problem. It is the only company that i have ever known that will not let you talk to a manager or senior member of staff. If i had caused the damage myself, fair enough, BUT I DID NOT. They have not even asked me to bring the unit over, so that it can be examined. Sop i have a cabin, without a glazed window that is open to all the bad weather and now have to try and source a unit from a local supplier. Wish i had never dealt with Dunster House. Poor company,poor staff.

Thank you for leaving a review. You contacted us regarding a sealed unit which broke two weeks after we delivered it. Our sealed units are made from toughened glass. As such, it isn’t possible for one to degrade and break weeks later, unless it had been stored badly (e.g. on concrete, metal or on gravel) or knocked. If there is a flaw in a sheet of toughened glass, it would break instantly as it is being made, rather than after being in your possession for two weeks. We offered you the ability to purchase a new unit but instead you made various threats to us about going to trading standards. We would not put you through to a Director or Manager as it would not change the truth of how a toughened glass sealed unit works. We are very sorry that you were unhappy with our answer. Please, for your own sake, be careful with how you store your replacement sealed unit, as we wouldn’t want you to have the same problem again. J Elsworth - Dec 23, 2011

Excellent service and the quality of wood is fantastic, we built our cabin with the help of the videos which I have to say were very helpful (well done boys). I now have a wonderful craft room which is so much better than a shed, it feels and looks like a real log cabin and I am the only one with a key!

Outstanding service and the quality of the merchandise is top notch I have no problem dealing with dunster house for any further purchases.

Fantastic! Great quality of materials. Very straight forward to fit together for anyone with basic DIY skills and tools. The cabin itself is a fantastic space with great insulation thanks to the lovely wood, it helps you feel as if you have escaped, even if just for a while.
Highly recommended.
