Delighted. A very substantial product. Easily assembled however shingles took a lot longer than anticipated. The shingles were worth the extra and we have had favourable comments from friends and neighbours. Company easy to deal with and delivery time on schedule.
Roll on the summer when we can use our summerhouse to its full potential

I thought I would share the picture of my new constructed summerhouse with you.
It was delivered Friday, the build started Sunday and was finished yesterday - so just two days. It's fabulous quality, the driver was lovely and it's fab value for money. If I know anyone who wants an outdoor I will recommend Dunster House every time

Fantastic product, I'm really pleased with the summerhouse. Unfortunately, I'm appalled by the total lack of after sales/customer service this company has demonstrated, despite their claims to the contrary. I signed the delivery as unchecked as it came on an enormous pallet, in hundreds of pieces, and the driver was unwilling to wait while I cheched every piece. When I did open the pallet and began unpacking, I discovered thet a pane of glass in one of the windows was smashed. Obviously, I wanted to report this to Dunster House asap so I phoned and was told that I could only communicate with customer services via email i.e. you can't speak to a person. This I did and several emails went back and forth with the same clear message - I "had signed for the delivery and therefore any damages were now my responsibility". I even sent a photo of the damaged pane still in situ on the pallet. When I informed "Wendy" at "customer services" that I wasn't satisfied with this response and that I would write to the MD, she emailed back and told me that the MD would simply refer my comments back to "customer service" anyway. In the end, keen to complete my project, I purchased a new pane of glass myself at a cost of £21. In my opinion, that would have been a small price for Dunster House to pay considering I gave them the best part of £2000 of my hard earned! With all that in mind, I reiterate that the product is fantastic but couldn't possibly recommend Dunster House as a company to deal with as I believe that customer service is massively important particularly when making an internet purchase such as this.

We work hard to ensure the high standards of our products and we think that it is telling by how positive you are about the overall product, despite your other feelings about our company. Regarding your other comments, our policy regarding our customer services is very clear and well published. We have a very cut and dry method for ensuring a speedy resolution to customer issues. We ask our customers to check the goods as problems such as a broken pane of glass can very easily be spotted upon delivery. If spotted on delivery, we have an automatic process that would have ensured that you would have received a replacement quickly. If we are not informed until after the delivery has been completed, we have no method of determining if the glass was broken before the delivery or after our driver has left. We are very usual in our policies and signing a delivery note from Dunster House as “unchecked” does not remove the responsibility of a customer to check the goods any more than it would for any other delivery firm. We are very sorry if at any point you felt rushed during your delivery and we promise that we will review our training to ensure our drivers are reminded to give our customers adequate time to properly check their delivery. What can I say? It takes something special to impress my wife because she is so fussy. It has to be stylish, good quality, look good and easy to put together so she does'nt have to put up with the groans from me. She is absoluteley delighted with the Summerhouse. Even the neighbours came round and said how fantastic it was. Really plush. Delivery was spot on and the driver helped me put the parts onto the drive. Ive just run mains to it and when the lights are on at night it looks great. Thank you very much.
