Our fantastic Murphy ‘4 in 1’ Stove is the newest addition to our stove collection here at Dunster House. Featuring a detachable and adjustable height chimney and a ‘sandwich’ of uses, this stove really is the perfect thing to have in your garden.

This wood burning stove creates a unique outside cooking experience that can be enjoyed by large groups of people, or perhaps just a couple of friends relaxing in the summer evenings. However you use it, this flexible cooking stove is a product that makes cooking fun again. Featuring a ‘4 in 1’ feature, this stove has a lot of unique features to boast about.

Not only is this stove practical, it is flexible, fun and simple to use. Just light it up, choose your preferred cooking method, and become a culinary genius in the confines of your own garden. Everything fits inside for ease of transport, with the cooking pot able to be fitted in flush for better heat retention/cooking.

This product has been initially designed for humanitarian needs following disasters, but we are offering it as an optional extra on all our Log Cabins so you can experience this fantastic cooking experience at home.

• A 20 litre stainless steel cooking pot that comes as standard with the stove, perfect for making a good stew, soup or perhaps goulash for large groups of people.
• A 41cm round sturdy grill plate that is fabulous for cooking kebabs, steaks, burgers and other barbecue food.
• A 41cm heavy duty hot plate that is the perfect size for pans and kettles for the more generic cooking experience.
• The strong grill plate can also be used as a cooking/heating area when using the cooking pot facility.

SAFETY WARNINGS FOR YOUR GUIDANCE

IT IS NOT SUPPLIED TO BE USED AS A HEATING OR COOKING SOURCE IN AN ENCLOSED SPACE OR DOMESTIC DWELLING.

 

• THIS STOVE WILL BE HOT during operation and due care should be taken in the vicinity of the stove and any use of the stove.
• Thick gloves should be used to operate the controls or reaching inside the stove to position fuel.
• FIRES CAN BE DANGEROUS - Always use a BS 6539 fireguard in the presence of children, the elderly or the infirm.
• DO NOT OVERFIRE - it is possible to fire the stove beyond its design capacity. This could damage the stove in an over-firing situation and the controls should be adjusted accordingly. Never leave the stove unattended for long periods. Careful air supply control should be used at all times for optimum efficiency and fuel burn and to prevent the burn off of the paint.

 

CARBON MONOXIDE

 

• Due consideration should be given to the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning following incomplete combustion of solid fuels if used accidently in an enclosed space.

2. YOU MUST ensure the stove is installed in accordance with any local regulations.
3. ALWAYS ensure that the stove is correctly installed and positioned and that the surrounding  area is kept clear.
4. ALWAYS check for damage before using the stove.  Do not use if damaged.
5. ALWAYS keep children and visitors at a safe distance from the stove.
6. NEVER pour any kind of liquid on to the stove, particularly when it is hot.
7. NEVER use flammable liquids for starting the fire.
8. NEVER carry out any modifications to this product.
9. The installation and use of the stove and chimney MUST comply with all National, International, European and local building regulations. Such as the Approved Document ‘J’ of the Building Regulations, October 2010, for the UK.
10. It is the responsibility of the owner and any other person to ensure that the assembly and installation complies with any regulations.

• This product is guaranteed against faulty manufacture for a period of 12 months from the date of despatch. Please keep your receipt which will be required as proof of purchase.
• This guarantee is invalid if the product is found to have been abused or tampered with in any way, not used for its intended purpose, or not used in accordance with these instructions.

• Faulty products should be returned to their place of purchase upon contacting your supplier and being issued with a Returns Note Reference.
