A Summerhouse that makes friends green with envy
Michael and Annie Ralph live in Surrey and they have transformed our beautiful Venice Summerhouse into a cosy, comfortable and airy space to relax or entertain friends.
Here is their story.
As their house was unsuitable for building a conservatory, Michael and Annie decided they needed a garden building where they could appreciate their beautiful garden while still being protected from the elements.
The new garden addition had to conform to some mandatory characteristics according to Michael. "Glazing on front and sides, cottage style and (the right) size."
As for the main reasons for choosing a Dunster House product, Michael was very sincere and open about the things they liked best and what ultimately made them choose our company in detriment of others.
"Liked the look and description of products and price was within budget. Been to 3 garden centres but not seen 'the right one'. The shape with the pointed ends suits our garden perfectly."
The service provided by Dunster House was also truly satisfying and efficient from their point of view. From Customer Service to our sales team and installation team it was all handled in a professional and organised manner.
"Customer care and communication through the order process was smooth and efficient and the summerhouse was delivered and erected on time and professionally."
The building process was quite an easy one as the couple had the Summerhouse erected by our team of installers. Some minor issues that occurred were just dealt with and resolved by our team in the same day. "Fitters arrived on time, found some pieces were missing, but this was sorted out during the day."
The couple didn't seem to have any kind of design already in their minds for the space before the project started.
The finished project however is really everything that they had hoped for. They are now able to have a great view of their garden and an amazing space outdoors.
"It's an indoors / outdoors room in which we relax and enjoy our garden. Our house is an old and dark cottage and this gives us outdoor living space. We've put roof lights in two roof panels, which has improved the lighting and made it much more like a conservatory."
When asked about the reactions and comments from friends and neighbours, the couple could not hide their contentment.
"Jealousy! It's much admired and frequented by friends enjoying the comfort."
It seems that the future does not hold any future developments. There aren't any plans at the moment for further improvements on the Summerhouse or other enhancements in their garden.
As Annie has described it "Our garden is only small and we're happy with it as it is."
And would they recommend the company to their friends and family? "We have already recommended Dunster House!"View More Case Studies
