This low maintenance Victorian style greenhouse is perfect for extending the growing season of your plants. The lower cladding is made from Wood Plastic Composite (WPC), a durable and easy to clean material, and the lower framing is made from recycled uPVC. The exposed timbers are made from sturdy spruce timbers and are pressure treated so we guarantee they will last for ten years without failure from fungal decay or wood-eating insects. The rooflight opens automatically, so you won't ever forget again!

Product Features
Greenhouses Auto Opener As Standard Bigger
Our Greenhouse comes with an automatic opening, temperature sensitive skylight that allows your plants to be adequately ventilated all year round. The opener will automatically adjust to ensure your plants get the correct amount of air whilst offering protection from the outdoor elements if the weather decides to take a turn for the worse. It is a much more convenient option than manually adjusted openers. No more need to worry that you've forgotten to open or close it!
Greenhouses Wood Plastic Composite Victorian Greenhouse
Wood Plastic Composite
The lower half of the Victorian Greenhouse is clad in Wood Plastic Composite (WPC). This strong, durable material is not only resistant to excessive temperatures but requires very little maintenance to maintain its high-quality finish. The hard-wearing material does not corrode and is highly resistant to rot and fungal decay.
Greenhouses Recycled Thermal Reinforcement Bar
Greenhouses Recycled Thermal Reinforcement Bar II
Recycled Thermal Reinforcement Bar
This 36mm by 36mm framework of the lower half of  the greenhouse is made from recycled uPVC, which is an energy efficient and environmentally friendly material. We put timber inside it for extra strength and connectivity using screws. As a result of this plastic bar framework, there are fewer timber components touching the ground. This reduces the extent of water damage to the timbers over time.
Greenhouses Avoid Planning Permission Victorian Greenhouse
This building is under 2.5m high.
Why does this matter? Well, under permitted development rights buildings under 2.5m high can be placed as close as you want to a boundary (e.g. a fence line) without planning permission. Buildings that are over 2.5m high, however, need to be placed over 2m away from any boundary (e.g. a fence line), which means that with taller buildings you end up with a lot of space behind them. If you want to find out more about permitted development rights see our planning guide planning guide r planning guide
Greenhouses Pressure Treated Timber Victorian Greenhouse
Greenhouses Pressure Treated Timber Victorian Greenhouse II
All of the exposed timbers have been pressure treated for an equal, long-lasting coverage. The pressure treatment process forces Tanalith E deep within the timber, protecting it against rot and fungal decay. The hidden timbers inside the uPVC bar are not pressure treated.
Greenhouses 4mm Toughened Glass Victorian Greenhouse
Greenhouses 4mm Toughened Glass Victorian Greenhouse II
4mm toughened glass is far stronger than the 3mm horticultural glass, 4mm float glass, styrene or Perspex that many of our competitors offer. This means you won’t have to go through the hassle and expense of replacing the glass should it get hit by a stray football. On the rare occasion your toughened glass does break, it will crumble safely rather than break into dangerously sharp shards.
How high is this Greenhouse?
It is 2.41m (7' 10") high
What type of glass do you use in this Greenhouse?
We only use 4mm toughened glass in our Greenhouses which is a far more hard-wearing and resilient material than commonly used Perspex and styrene.
Do you offer any guarantees or warranties on this product?
We offer a genuine 10-year guarantee against rot and insect infestation on our pressure treated timber.
Do you have to paint or treat this Greenhouse?
This Greenhouse is pressure treated so will not need to be painted or treated for up to 10 years. However, you may wish to treat with water repellant for timber maintenance.
What timber is this Greenhouse made from?
We use slow-grown Spruce timber for the main structure of the Greenhouse. Spruce is less porous than Pine and so less likely to shrink, warp or split.
