INSTALLER – BASINGSTOKE

 

We are looking for an Installer to help assemble garden log buildings. You will be based out of our Basingstoke Branch. Carpentry skills are required for this position and you must hold a valid driving licence. This role will involve some overnight stays.

 

Normal hours of work are an average of 43 per week between Monday and Friday with a 07.30 start.

We are looking for people who have proven experience of working in a target driven Office Sales Manager role within a retail sales environment, dealing with customers both face to face and on the telephone.

We are looking for someone who is interested in a part-time role, but also have the flexibility of being on our bank of staff.

 

Normally working Saturday or Sunday, and possibly during busy peaks or promotions working some additional hours during the week.

 

We want someone who is outgoing and likes to meet and greet people.  The role of the Garden Host/Hostess will involve showing people around our timber lifestyle products. There is no selling involved.

The ideal candidate will need to be organised, accurate and have a good eye for detail as well as having experience in administration.  We are looking for somebody who enjoys talking to and meeting new people; is confident, pro-active and self motivated as well as having experience of dealing with Customer Enquiries by telephone or face to face.  In addition, excellent planning and organisational skills are required. DESPATCH CLERK - WARMINSTER

 

The ideal candidate will need to be flexible, well organised and able to cope under pressure, having excellent communication skills in order to liaise with customers over the phone to arrange delivery of goods. 

 

In addition, a good geographical knowledge with the ability to plan economical delivery routes, it is also essential that the successful person has experience in office administration as they will be required to update the despatch diaries, prepare delivery notes two days in advance, process balance payments via card net terminals and updating on the in house NAV system to show the balance has been cleared.  Other duties will include checking stock for orders both booked and not booked, answering incoming phone calls and liaising with other branches to swap stock around on transfer orders.

 

Normal hours of work are Monday to Friday alternating on a weekly basis and working either 08.30 hours – 17.30 or 09.00 hours to 18.00 hours.

BRANCH SALES ROOM MANAGER

Earning potential typically £25,000 uncapped

As a growing International Company currently employing approx. 300 people, we are looking for a Sales Team Leader to be based at our Warminster Branch.

You must be passionate for results and have a proven record of Management success. We are seeking a Sales Team Leader who is capable of leading, managing and motivating a team of competitive Sales staff to reach or exceed their sales targets.  This role will be based in the Warminster Branch and the successful applicant must hold a valid UK driving licence.

TECHNICAL MANAGER

We currently have a vacancy for a National Technical Manager for our Timber Products to be based at our Bedford Head Office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a growing company and become part of our success.

 

Some of the areas of responsibility for the Technical Manager will include:

 

  • Completing all Technical managerial tasks helped with internal staff.

  • Involvement with the development of new products

  • Managing the quality of our customer services concerning technical issues

  • Managing the Design office work

  • Providing elegant solutions to problems

  • Having the ability to make structural calculations for our Timber products

  • Managing and reviewing product suitability

 

It is desirable that the successful applicant has a suitable Technical Certification as well as a demonstrable man management career with at least 10 staff.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT INTERNSHIPS

 

We are offering paid internship placements to international university students through the Erasmus+ program. The internships available may be based in any one of our many departments and branches within the Company. Most of our internships start in March and September, but they are ongoing throughout the year so we can be flexible.

 

The internships that we offer aim to help you gain experience in the working world in order to help you start or progress in your career direction. You will have one main job role, but you may be required to work in other departments as necessary which will also then help you gain more experience and skills.
