  • 10 year guarantee
All of the timber in our greenhouses is pressure treated and is guaranteed against rot and insect infestation for 10 years. Protecting your timber thoroughly, you won't need to re-treat for at least ten years or worry about little critters causing havoc.
  • 4mm toughened glass
We use 4mm thick toughened glass, not Perspex or Styrene which can scratch easily and cloud up over time. This is also thicker and less likely to break when hit with the neighbour’s pesky football compared to the industry standard of 3mm horticultural glass.
  • High internal eaves
The internal eaves are typically higher than others, at 1.86m (6'1") high, to the bottom of the timber trusses (The glass is higher still), there's plenty more room for your plants to grow. The top of our windows runs in line with the top of our doors, you don't walk through a tall door only to then hit your head on the roof!
    Avoid planning permission
This building is under 2.5m high.
Why does this matter? Well, under permitted development rights buildings under 2.5m high can be placed as close as you want to a boundary (eg. a fence line) without planning permission. Buildings that are over 2.5m high, however, need to be placed over 2m away from any boundary (eg. a fence line), which means that with taller buildings you end up with a lot of space behind them. If you want to find out more about permitted development rights see our planning guide
    Sliding doors
Our Greenhouses are fitted with extra wide doors, to ensure ample room for your wheel barrow to fit through. The main doors slide open, rather than being hinged so you won't waste valuable indoor space leaving room for the doors to swing in. They also won't be caught in the wind or knocked about as you move things in and out.
    Full panes of Glass
We only use full panes of glass, not overlapping half panes joined together in the middle with clips which several of our competitors use. Full sheets of glass adds to the strength of the greenhouse, improving resistance to poor weather conditions and stray footballs. It also makes cleaning the glass a lot easier.
    Easy to build panel system
Lower panels constructed using a panel system, to make construction as easy as possible.
    Heavy Duty Frames & Cladding
Our heavy duty 70mm x 35mm framework ensures your greenhouse stands up to the elements and general wear and tear it will face. The robust framework, combined with 16mm thick cladding, make the construction of your greenhouse strong and stable.
    Optional Opening Skylights/Windows
Optional opening skylights and side windows allow you to control the ventilation, reducing the chance of mildew. Choose between our manual opening windows/skylights and automatic temperature sensitive skylights.
Glass Held in Place with Beading
We use individual wooden beads to hold our glass in place. The other solution on the market is to slot the glass into the framework as the greenhouse gets built. These panes of glass are held in place with wooden beading rather than being slot into place whilst building the Greenhouse – by using beading we make it easier to replace single panes of glass in the rare occasion one of them breaks.
    Tall Walkthrough Height
We fit extra tall doors to give an extra tall walkthrough (of 5'10") so you are much less likely to bump your head compared with competitor greenhouses.
    Avoid Sagging Roofs
Our greenhouses have robust 90mm x 35mm roof beams. The beams are in place to provide additional support and structure to the toughened glass roof, adding to its strength and stability.

The image above shows a brief reference to how your products will arrive. All of our garden buildings are made from kiln dried quality graded timber, if it is to be stored prior to construction and treatment all parts must be covered to prevent moisture from warping and rotting the timber.

Lovely green house, could be a little more information on the plans or id on the parts to help identify them

Greenhouse is great. A lot more complicated than I anticipated to construct. In the end our builder did it for us. My mistake I didn't understand that it doesn't come in sections, but in hundreds of individual strips of wood. I ordered the wooden floor but in the end we put down a concrete base and didn't need the floor, but the timber came in handy to let me build other things in the garden.

Thank you for your review; sorry if you did not understand how the greenhouse would be supplied. To clarify for anyone else looking at this review, our greenhouses are supplied as precut lengths of timber that need to be screwed together to make the framework. The boarded panels at the bottom of the greenhouse are supplied as made up panels which are then screwed to the frames. The door sashes are already assembled, the roof is also supplied in pre-cut parts to be screwed together. This is not unusual for greenhouses; as due to their size and open nature (there are no boards where the glass will be fitted) it would be very hard to transport them as fully made up frames. In pre-cutting and pre-shaping all the timbers and making up panels and doors we have tried to assemble these products as much as possible within the limits of transportation. Also, our glazing beads are separate pieces of timber rather than simply a slot in a frame piece to slide the glass into whilst you assemble it. We consider this to be a great benefit with our design as the alternatives on the market simply have slotted timber which the glass can slide into whilst assembling but should ever the glass break would require the greenhouse to be completely dismantled from the roof down to slide in a new piece of glass. Our method provides a simple future proof glazing option which simply requires you to remove and re-nail 4 beads should ever a piece of glass break in the future. This means you have a few more pieces of timber to put together in the first place, but should any of our customers require it we do offer an installation service for anyone wanting us to put it together for them. We are sure that the quality of your greenhouse will ensure many years of good service and outweigh the initial time taken to install it.
