  • Avoid Planning permission
This building is under 2.5m high. Why does this matter? Well, under permitted development rights buildings under 2.5m high can be placed as close as you want to a boundary (eg. a fence line) without planning permission. Buildings that are over 2.5m high, however, need to be placed over 2m away from any boundary (eg. a fence line), which means that with taller buildings you end up with a lot of space behind them. If you want to find out more about permitted development rights see our planning guide
    Slow Grown Spruce
We use slow grown spruce for the walls of our Glamping Cocoons as it is better all round than pine! Spruce is less porous than Pine and so less likely to shrink, warp or split. We only select slowly grown timber from colder climates which also helps keep the timber more stable as the rings are densely packed. It is also a less resinous timber than Pine, which makes the possibility of sap ruining your clothes or furnishings much less likely.
  • Pressure Treated Floor Bearers
By pressure treating our floor bearers we protect the lowest part of the building from rot and insect infestation. This forces the treatment deep into the timber using a large pressure treatment tank. Due to this costly but effective process we can offer our customers a genuine 10 year guarantee against rot and insect infestation on the bearers with no need for the customer to re-treat this timber at any point during that time.
  • Free fixing pack
We include all the screws, nails and fixings needed to put your garden building together - not everyone is that thoughtful. It also saves you having to worry about what sort of screws you'll need, what length and other such things, the right fixing for the job is included in the kit!
    Commercial and personal use
The best thing about our Camping Pods is that they have a multitude of uses, primarily commercial and personal use. Commercial use ranges from Campsites, Bed and Breakfast Accommodation, Fishing Lakes, Agri-tourism, Small Hotels and Public Houses. Personal use entitles you to use it any which way you see fit. This is ideally suited for those who have households with limited space, providing you with extra accommodation. Our pods can also be used as Garden Offices or a work space to carry out DIY projects, or it can be used as your very own man cave conveniently placed at the bottom of the garden.
Pods for business (Excellent Return on Investment)
Our Camping Pods offer an exciting growth opportunity in the UK holiday market. The Camping Pod allows businesses to create non-intrusive accommodation in some of nature’s most beautiful places. Whether you’re a start-up business or a farm looking to diversify or even an established campsite with a spare field or woodland glade, a Camping Pod can help you release untapped revenue.
Our PremiumPlus doors feature our industry leading four point locking system. It features a hook, locking latch and two roller locks. We use a type of lock known as a RASP cylinder. The reason we use this, is that it is a safer, more secure locking system as it prevents 'lock bumping' and 'cylinder snapping'. Our Premiumplus windows have multipoint locking as well, using the same type of system as we supply with our uPVC windows and doors.
Other companies claim that they offer a 10 year Guarantee on their untreated timber. Please take the time to read the small print, as you'll find that these Guarantees are pointless. Such guarantees cover the cabin against rot and insect infestation, and the conditions of the Guarantee state that you, the customer, need to treat the cabin every year with a good quality preservative. Well of course it won't have any rot or insect infestation if you treat it every year; that's the point of treatment. So why are these Companies offering a Guarantee for something that you are going to have to do?!? And if ever you were to try to claim on it would you need to submit a film of yourself treating the cabin each year? How could you prove you had treated it? We don't offer pointless Guarantees. The only Guarantees we offer are when we, the company, have done something to ensure that the product lasts. Like our 10 year guarantee on pressure treated timber, or our 10 year guarantee on galvanised metal for our thatched gazebo roofs. We hope you won't be mislead by other Companies 'Guarantees'.
