    pressure treated
All of the slow grown spruce in our Greenhouse has been cut to size, planed and then pressure treated for an equal, complete coverage rather than leaving exposed edges which renders the protection useless. The pressure treatment process forces Tanalith E deep within the timber, protecting it against rot and fungal decay without the need to retreat it. This is a vital aspect to your Greenhouse as it will face a variety of elements throughout the year, all of which can cause weaknesses and structural problems if the Greenhouse is left to rot. Our treatment ensures a robust, strong and sturdy Greenhouse for you to work in.
    toughened glass
4mm toughened glass is far stronger than the 3mm horticultural glass, 4mm float glass, styrene or Perspex that many of our competitors offer. In fact, we tested it against three of the four above, by hitting them with bricks and rubbing them with a supermarket brillo pad – our 4mm toughened glass remained clean, clear and in one piece. This means you won’t have to go through the hassle, and expense, of replacing the glass should it get hit by a stray football or brick. On the rare occasion your toughened glass does break, it will crumble safely rather than break into dangerously sharp shards.
    staging included
To help you in growing plants and crops of all kinds, we include staging as standard. The staging is attached to the framework, ensuring there are no legs or stands in your way which might be a hazard. The fixed staging will help you organise all your pots, plants and tools just how you want them. We use pressure treated timber which ensures it is protected from rot and insect infestation for at least 10 years without the need for you to annually treat it.
    auto-opener included
Our Greenhouse comes with an automatic opening, temperature sensitive skylight that allows your plants to be adequately ventilated all year round. The opener will automatically adjust to ensure your plants get the correct amount of air whilst offering protection from the outdoor elements if the weather decides to take a turn for the worse. It is a much more convenient option then manually adjusted openers, and there is no risk of forgetting!
The Greenhouse features a wood plastic composite panel (WPC) on the back wall. The strong, durable material is not only extremely resistant to excessive temperatures but requires very little maintenance to maintain its high-quality finish. The hard-wearing material does not corrode and is highly resistant to rot and fungal decay, much like our pressure treated timber. The thick panel is perfect for additional storage – you could hang hooks that allow you to easily hang tools, coats and array of equipment. It’s all up to you!
    Avoid Planning Permission
This building is under 2.5m high.
Why does this matter? Well, under permitted development rights buildings under 2.5m high can be placed as close as you want to a boundary (eg. a fence line) without planning permission. Buildings that are over 2.5m high, however, need to be placed over 2m away from any boundary (eg. a fence line), which means that with taller buildings you end up with a lot of space behind them. If you want to find out more about permitted development rights see our planning guide

The image above shows a brief reference to how your products will arrive. All of our garden buildings are made from kiln dried quality graded timber, if it is to be stored prior to construction and treatment all parts must be covered to prevent moisture from warping and rotting the timber.

Excellent quality greenhouse, we love it. I was actually able to build it myself, with a little help from my wife, but extremely easy instructions to follow and not too complicated. Excellent quality of wood. Definitely recommend Dunster House as a company an will use them again

My husband is very pleased with his greenhouse. It looks lovely in our garden. It was fairly easy to put up and is all we expected it to be. Would definitely recommend it.

Very pleased with the greenhouse, clear instructions, fairly easy assembly (two man job for some parts), looking forward to using. One minor snag with a missing component which was solved using a piece of spare timber.

Enjoying my greenhouse and very pleased with quality. It took a long time to build and a few discussions!! Comes in more pieces than you think but worth it in the end. Good value too.

Purchased this greenhouse back in April and I am extremely happy with it. The men who delivered it were helpful and polite. It is a good solid construction and pleasant addition to our garden. My only criticism is that the rain comes in above the sliding doors because of the gap beween the door frame and main frame. I did mention this to our local supplier.

Lovely green house, could be a little more information on the plans or id on the parts to help identify them

This green house is sturdy, had all the extras for one price: toughened glass, automatic openers and staging. My daughter loves it! The delivery driver was very helpful.

Excellent quality throughout. It takes time to build but it is worth it. Loads of room for growing, plenty of light and a solid building.

Dear Ray, thank you for your comments. We hope you feel the time spent on construction is well worth it.

Very very pleased with installed greenhouse. It was delivered on time with a Helpful team and especially so the two guys who actually erected the greenhouse. The quality of the greenhouse is good and looks at home in my garden!!

Thank you Ruth. Remember you can always send photos to We love seeing photos of our customer's products.

The complete process starting from obtaining details of the Mini Greenhouse prior to purchase the ability to track the delivery , the way the green house was packaged , the quality and finish of the component parts, and the way it all fitted together was excellent. It took me about 7 hours to build it . I am very pleased with the completed green house and look forward to using it in the new year

Very happy with both installation and product. Professional and polite throughout. Think I'd definitely have struggled to build it myself!

I'm very pleased with my Swallowmere greenhouse. The design is good, well thought-out and the parts build into a strong greenhouse with way above average height. The component timbers are well machined and fit easily as per instructions. Customer service were quick in providing a couple of small items that were missing. I would recommend this greenhouse to anyone requiring a good-looking and cost-effective greenhouse.

My order was completed without a hitch - the advice from the sales team and the customer service staff at the despatch depot was excellent and the delivery was as arranged and went smoothly It will be some weeks before the greenhouse is put up - we did expect it in sections not as dozens of little pieces - may be we didn't read the spec too carefully! - but we will endeavour to send a photo of the finished project.

FAB!! It's now up and running and looks beautiful, so glad I went for a wood green house not metal. I've painted it white and it has a pink heart on the top. it feels solid and good quality. It went together well without any difficulties. The glass has been tested by a neighbour's son throwing stones and it is definitely toughened! My only regret is I didn't buy the opening window as an extra.

We wanted to replace an old greenhouse and plumped for the Tulipley 3m x 2.4m. There were a lot of pieces on arrival which was a little daunting but once we sorted all the components out it became more obvious and all parts were present and correct. The plans were quite simple to follow and all the parts fitted together a treat. A lot of thought must have gone into the design and planning. Assembly did take some time but it was really enjoyable and progressed well. We did have one problem with a door roller but once we reported the problem a replacement was despatched and promptly arrived by courier. The greenhouse is now complete and ready for use although the flowers on the image haven’t been allowed inside just yet!

I was most impressed with the quality of the materials, the timber, glass, fixings and fittings. The completed structure feels like it will last a lifetime. On the whole the instructions are excellent with only one or two steps leaving me scratching my head a bit. I was a bit surprised that the greenhouse frames did not come assembled; instead you get a very large collection of different sized and shaped pieces of wood which you have to screw together. As a result the construction time was much longer than I expected, at least three days. I recommend you borrow some power drills from your friends as otherwise you are forever changing from drill bit to countersink (they are not pre-drilled) to screwdriver heads. You only need moderate DIY skills but a lot of patience. Despite these minor misgivings I am extremely pleased with the end result, and more importantly so is the misses! I would strongly recommend Dunsters to anyone who wants a quality product at a reasonable price.
