  • 10 year guarantee
All of the timber in our Greenhouse/Shed Combos is pressure treated and is guaranteed against rot and insect infestation for 10 years. Protecting your timber thoroughly, you won't need to re-treat for at least ten years or worry about little critters causing havoc.
  • 4mm toughened glass
We use 4mm thick toughened glass, not Perspex or Styrene which can scratch easily and cloud up over time. This is also thicker and less likely to break when hit with the neighbour’s pesky football compared to the industry standard of 3mm horticultural glass.
  • High internal eaves
The internal eaves are typically higher than others, at 1.86m (6'1") high, to the bottom of the timber trusses (The glass is higher still), there's plenty more room for your plants to grow. The top of our windows runs in line with the top of our doors, you don't walk through a tall door only to then hit your head on the roof!

    Avoid planning permission

This building is under 2.5m high.
Why does this matter? Well, under permitted development rights buildings under 2.5m high can be placed as close as you want to a boundary (eg. a fence line) without planning permission. Buildings that are over 2.5m high, however, need to be placed over 2m away from any boundary (eg. a fence line), which means that with taller buildings you end up with a lot of space behind them. If you want to find out more about permitted development rights see our planning guide

    Sliding doors

Our Greenhouses are fitted with extra wide doors, to ensure ample room for your wheel barrow to fit through. The main doors slide open, rather than being hinged so you won't waste valuable indoor space leaving room for the doors to swing in. They also won't be caught in the wind or knocked about as you move things in and out.

    Full panes of Glass

We only use full panes of glass, not overlapping half panes joined together in the middle with clips which several of our competitors use. Full sheets of glass adds to the strength of the greenhouse, improving resistance to poor weather conditions and stray footballs. It also makes cleaning the glass a lot easier.

    Easy to build panel system

Lower panels constructed using a panel system, to make construction as easy as possible.

    Optional Opening Skylights/Windows

Optional opening skylights and side windows allow you to control the ventilation, reducing the chance of mildew. Choose between our manual opening windows/skylights and automatic temperature sensitive skylights.

Glass Held in Place with Beading

We use individual wooden beads to hold our glass in place. The other solution on the market is to slot the glass into the framework as the greenhouse gets built. These panes of glass are held in place with wooden beading rather than being slot into place whilst building the Greenhouse – by using beading we make it easier to replace single panes of glass in the rare occasion one of them breaks.

    Staging

Our superior staging provides a quality finishing touch to your greenhouse. With single, double or free-standing staging you can organise all your pots, plants and tools just how you want them. We use pressure treated timber which ensures it is protected from rot and insect infestation for at least 10 years.

    Tall Walkthrough Height

We fit extra tall doors to give an extra tall walkthrough (of 5'10") so you are much less likely to bump your head compared with competitor greenhouses. The door into the shed part of this building is even higher at 6'6" tall (1980mm).

    Avoid Sagging Roofs

Our greenhouses have robust 90mm x 35mm roof beams. The beams are in place to provide additional support and structure to the toughened glass roof, adding to its strength and stability. The Shed part has very strong 70mm x 35mm roof beams that work with the 16mm thick roof boards to provide a very strong roof structure, which will prevent unsightly sagging.

The image above shows a brief reference to how your products will arrive. All of our garden buildings are made from kiln dried quality graded timber, if it is to be stored prior to construction and treatment all parts must be covered to prevent moisture from warping and rotting the timber.

Average Seller Rating:

Very happy with both installation and product. Professional and polite throughout. Think I'd definitely have struggled to build it myself!
