    Garages Pressure Treated Floor Bearers
Garages Pressure Treated Floor Bearers II
    Pressure treated bearers
Our 70mm thick floor bearers are pressure treated. This forces the treatment deep into the timber using a large pressure treatment tank. This allows us to offer our customers a 10 year guarantee against rot and insect infestation on these parts.
    Garages 10 Years Timber Guarantee
Garages 10 Years Timber Guarantee II
    10 year guarantee?
The floor bearers that offer support to this garage are pressure treated and therefore are guaranteed against rot and insect infestation for 10 years. Protecting your timber thoroughly, you won't need to re-treat the timber for at least ten years or worry about little critters causing havoc.
    Garages Customise Your Design
    Garages Customise Your Design II
    Customise your design
Our Garages can be installed with the windows and doors on either the left hand side wall or on the right hand side wall. You can even change the logs around whilst you build it so that the single door is towards the front of the side elevation rather than towards the back in order to accommodate your personal requirements. You can also choose to have it with or without Georgian Bars, to suit your taste.
    Garages Slow Grown Spruce
    Garages Slow Grown Spruce II
    Slow grown spruce
We use slow grown spruce for the walls of all our Garages as it is better all round than pine! Spruce is less porous than Pine and so less likely to shrink, warp or split. We only select slowly grown timber from colder climates which also helps keep the timber more stable as the rings are densely packed. It is also a less resinous timber than Pine, which makes the possibility of sap ruining your clothes or furnishings much less likely.. Although Spruce costs about 3-4% more than Pine we understand these advantages and are keen for our customers to benefit from them and are sure that this increased cost is covered by the recommendations our customers give when they see the quality of our timber compared to others!
    Garages 4MM Toughened Glass
    Garages 4MM Toughened Glass Styrene
    4mm toughened glass
We use 4mm toughened glass in our windows and doors for increased safety and security. It's much better than 3mm horticultural glass, commonly found in garden buildings, as it's a lot harder to break, and if ever it is broken it breaks into small pieces rather than large shards. It is also much harder to scratch than the plastic alternatives, styrene, acrylic and perspex, so will preserve your clear view out for far longer.
Garages 2 Point Door Lock System
Garages 2 Point Door Lock System II
    2 Point Door Lock system
Our garage doors feature a dual point locking system. The hasp and staple fastener is fitted to the door and then screwed in. After the door lock is locked, the hasp and staple keep plate installed in the door frame to ensure maximum security.
    Garages Tall Walkthrough Height
    Garages Tall Walkthrough Height II
    Tall walkthrough height
With our extra tall doors, unless you are over 1.86m (6'1'') tall you can walk right the way through without any danger of bumping your head.
    Garages Avoid Sagging Roof
    Garages Avoid Sagging Roof II
    Avoid sagging roofs
Our heavy duty 140mm or 210mm high by 45mm wide supporting roof beams prevent unsightly sagging.
    Garages Avoid Planning Permission Open
    Garages Avoid Planning Permission Close
    Avoid Planning permission
This building is under 2.5m high. Why does this matter? Well, under permitted development rights buildings under 2.5m high can be placed as close as you want to a boundary (eg. a fence line) without planning permission. Buildings that are over 2.5m high, however, need to be placed over 2m away from any boundary (eg. a fence line), which means that with taller buildings you end up with a lot of space behind them. If you want to find out more about permitted development rights see our planning guide.
    Garages Adjustable Storm Braces
    Garages Adjustable Storm Braces II
    Adjustable Storm Braces
Our adjustable storm braces tie the garage roof to the rest of the building so it withstands stronger winds. Unlike others on the market they are adjustable to allow for the natural movement of the garage which helps prevent gaps appearing between wall logs as the logs settle and move.
    Garages Optional 14mm Double Glazing
Garages Optional 14mm Double Glazing II
    Optional 14mm Double Glazing
The double glazing option on these garages is 14mm thick. We make these sealed units ourselves to European Standard EN1279. They are an excellent way of insulating your cabin and extending its usage from a seasonal building to one that can be used throughout the year.

Trent Tandem Lo-Roof Garage W3.05m x D9.45m

The image above shows a brief reference to how your products will arrive. All of our garden buildings are made from kiln dried quality graded timber, if it is to be stored prior to construction and treatment all parts must be covered to prevent moisture from warping and rotting the timber.

Average Seller Rating:

I've completed building my Trent low roof garage and i'm really pleased with it. Everything went smoothly as far as putting it together. I would recommend studying the instructions for a few hours before you start building just to get an understanding for what you are doing. But i have to say it was pretty straight forward to put together and looks fantastic now its finished. One thing i will also mention is not to underestimate how long it takes to stain it all. Its a pretty big building and having to stain it twice does take a while. I purchased The PremiumPlus Light Oak Treatment (SX70) with the cabin and it is superb in application and water resistance. All in all very happy with the quality of the product and Dunster House's service. Thank you.

Just finished building my Radley corner cabin. I must say that i am well chuffed how it looks. Photo attached. I must also say that the process was very easy, minus a few hiccups which customer services sorted out. I saw a few negative reviews prior to ordering, but decided that i still wanted to order. Glad i did as i am more than pleased. Installation is a bit more complicated than looks and instructions are very vague. Even the joiner that installed it for me was left scratching his head a few times, but we managed to get there in the end.All in all very pleased. . The delivery people were great and as i was not able to lift anything I paid for a two person delivery. They hand balled it off the lorry and put it in a chosen spot in the back garden.Very helpful.Would certainly recommend.

You might have sold a shed to a friend of mine, Paul Turner, on the strength of a recommendation by my housemate. Another local guy watched us erect the garage and thinks he wants one. Everyone who has passed the back of the house on the private lane has commented on how nice it looks. We have finished the main construction in one eight hour day and just need to put the shingle roof on, and then do the windows and doors - and of course stain the outside three times and use a pukka varnish on the inside. Can't wait for the cabin, which I need to sort with you in a few days time. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction and making the purchase worry free. It is rare to find a company that does exactly what it says... So, here's to a happy garage and what will be an amazing cabin. The furniture is ready, the floor coverings are planned... it is going to be great to see the Sun, rather than be in the office, which only gets a bit of sunshine in the afternoon.

Very pleased overall with Dunster House and the quality of the garage. The erection and delivery team were all very professional and the garage looks superb. I would be quite happy to let anyone who wishes to buy a timber garage come and visit me with prior warning and view the completion of this project.

Good quality product, once it finally arrived, after booking an installation date you called me two days before the installation date to say the garage hadn't arrived from Eastern Europe and I had to wait a further two weeks. No offer of a good will gesture was made, I had already paid in full at this late stage so had no choice but to accept what I was being told. Really frustrating at the time as I had other trades booked in around the building of the garage.
By - Bruce Hastie on Aug 30,16 Dunster House reply:
Dear Bruce. Thank you for your review. We are really sorry that you had to wait another two weeks for your delivery but although these situations are rare unfortunately sometimes we can't control or anticipate all of the possible problems that might occur during the process. We always do our best to deliver on the promised date but sometimes delays can occur.

Very quick delivery, driver very helpful. The garage went together very easy and quickly. No problem with the assembly. Did most of the build on my own. Help need with the apex lift and main front to rear roof timbers. Every thing you need to build it supplied and the instructions are very easy to follow. Already had a stranger stop and ask where we got the garage from , his comment "beautiful garage".he took the details . Don't hesitate if your looking for this type of garage and look.

From discussing the initial specification to taking the order and confirming the delivery the entire process was easy. All my questions were answered and offered a great deal. The installation team were so quick and the quality of the finished product superb. This garage is way better than anything else I found on the market in terms of build integrity and cost. The finished garage is now dry, secure and full of stuff ! Very happy customer.

Just wanted to express my thanks and absolute delight at the Trent garage that your team erected last Friday. The product is absolutely fantastic - we've had visits all weekend from people admiring its quality. Very very happy with the product and your professional installation team.

Very impressed with the way it fitted together. Good quality timber . Budget hinges for the barn doors, but on the whole very good value for money. A few more instructions would be better Regards Clive Bartram

I am writing to provide a review of the Hercules Single Carport. What an absolute delight it was to assemble the Hercules Single Carport. The quality of all the timber, components and fittings is first class, not one problem putting the whole carport together every part fitted like a glove. I am an average DIY'er but with the help of my 71 year old father and 2 sons aged 9 and 12 we managed to get the job done in just under 2 days. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and we really enjoyed the build! Well done all at Dunster House from sales to customer service to the delivery driver.

First ever purchase from Dunster. I am a Project Manager so whole project sent into turmoil when purchase turned up after only 2 weeks. Untreated timbers sat on lawn (raised timbers and tarps) waiting for concrete pad to appear. Then 6 weeks later we are ready to install. It went up like a dream not one warped timber, easy to follow instruction and I was one happy customer. All up and painted in one weekend. I don't do reviews but do seem to spend time complaining, only fair to give some credit where credit is due. Will not hesitate to purchase from Dunster again.
By - Malcolm Varney on Apr 11,15 Dunster House reply:
Dear Malcolm, Thank you so much for your review. Thanks for taking the time to give us such postive comments. If you are used to complaining whenever there is something to complain about, it is a relief to see that the only thing to complain about was our super fast delivery!

Excellent product and service. From the initial drop off by the driver where he spent the time unloading with me going through the parts to ensure I had everything and stacking it in an order to make construction easier when I started. Construction was really straight forwards, the instructions were clear and easy to understand. Product quality is great, excellent videos on Facebook to follow should you want to physically see one being built up so all in all a first class product and service. I will certainly reccommend them to my friends
By - Barry Boughton on Jan 13,15 Dunster House reply:
Thank you Barry, some of us in the office are pleased you especially liked the videos!

The double garage kit is remarkable value for money and the finished result looks amazing. It was a busy couple of days getting it put up but I managed with a little help from a mate. The basic structure including the roof and roof membrane took about a day and a half to complete then some quiet time on my own with the finishing off - the doors, glazing, roof shingles etc. There were times when I thought I might be short of a few pieces but I was wrong; everything was there as detailed in the parts list. My advice would be to spend several hours reading and re-reading the instructions. It's worth noting that the instructions are not 100% specific to the Deore double garage (being based on a standard cabin) so you need to combine 2 sets of instructions which was a bit challenging! I'm thoroughly delighted to have bought from Dunster House.
