An outdoor classroom is fantastic for schools to allow students to learn and explore the outdoor area surrounding them. As the amount of children in a class at once is decreasing, you may also be looking at alternate classroom facilities. Outdoor classrooms will allow teachers to still host an hour or two hour class with students seated at a desk, no different to indoor classrooms.
A Dunster House partition gazebo, the perfect addition to your outdoor dining facilities. Our wooden gazebos do not only provide shelter from natural elements allowing all outdoor dining to run regardless, but they also add character and style to your outdoor area.
All wooden partition gazebos are made from slow grown spruce timber, providing you with a more durable, dense structure. The 70mm thick posts ensure a strong and sturdy structure, even in high winds. With a walk through height of 6’ (1.84m), the majority of your customers should be able to walk under the gazebo without ducking.
To increase longevity of the gazebo, the whole structure is fully pressure treated which is guaranteed for 10 years. This type of treatment penetrates deep into the timber, reducing the likelihood of rot and insect infestation. Treated timber means less maintenance, and will only require a clear water repellent treatment every now and again.

The Erin range is a uniquely designed gazebo with a perspex dome on the top of the roof. This one of a kind feature is a great way for your diners to enjoy the sunlight streaming through during the summer days, and stargaze during the evening.
Inserting a partition across the centre of the structure is the best way to make the most of the space the gazebo offers. You will be able to offer seating to two different groups of people, without invading anyone's privacy. The partitions have glazed panels, therefore not taking away any natural lighting.
Outdoor dining and gardens are a fantastic way for your customers to enjoy the nature or views surrounding them. Whether you are a garden pub, rooftop bar, alfresco diner or hotel gazebos allow you to keep your outdoor facilities open longer than usual.
Our range of pub gazebos are very classic, giving you the opportunity to add your own design elements to suit your restaurant or bars interior. The partitions are a great way to provide privacy and distance between groups, while keeping your pub or restaurant garden looking fantastic.
Running outdoor lighting across the outskirts of the structure can really make it glow. If your outdoor facilities are open during the evening/night then this may be something to add to the gazebo, as it can add a real wow factor!
One of the lovely reasons people enjoy outdoor diners and pubs is to embrace the gorgeous scent of the greenery around them. Growing climbing plants along the post or placing hanging baskets on the corners of the structure can add a real summer feel.
Adding outdoor heaters within the structure makes the shetler perfect for all year round use! Your customers are then able to enjoy the scenery around them, and not worry about feeling the breeze especially in the colder months.
Wooden Gazebo Maintenance
To ensure your pub gazebos have a prolonged life, it’s crucial that you take the correct measures to maintain them properly. Our experts recommend that you perform systematic checks to your wooden gazebos at least once a year. When performing maintenance pay close attention to mould and mildew, weed control and roof maintenance.
Should you find mould and mildew on your wooden gazebo, don’t be alarmed. By employing a few simple cleaning-based tips, you can easily remove the mildew from your garden gazebo.
Start by filling two buckets of water. Leave one bucket as it is, with clear water, and add a mild detergent to the second bucket. Then, take a soft cloth and moisten it with the mild detergent solution.
Wring the cloth out so that it’s barely moist and proceed by scrubbing the areas of your gazebo that are affected by mildew. Once finished, take another clean cloth and rise with clean water. After that, take a third piece of clean cloth to dry the problem area.
In case where a white layer appears after you have cleaned the problem section of your wooden gazebo, simply use the furniture cleaner to remove the waxy residue. Finally, apply a thin layer of paste wax for an attractive finish.
If your gazebos are painted, replace the mild detergent with chlorine bleach and skip the application of furniture cleaner and paste wax. Instead, after cleaning, let the wood dry out naturally.
It’s important that you take measures in removing the weeds from the areas surrounding your gazebo. Especially when you have trained climbing plants engulfing your structure as the chances of it being infiltrated with weeds are increased.
In addition, it’s vital that you check the roof of your gazebo at least twice a year for damage. Ensure the gazebo roof is leak-free and that no branches or excessive amount of leaves have fallen onto the roof. If there are leaves, remove them immediately.
Teachers can use this as additional space from the staff room and office too. With the structure being outdoors, it can also be used during lunch hours for the children, especially if you don’t want the dinner hall to be overcrowded.
Outdoor Classroom Gazebo
The Atlas gazebo range is the perfect addition to any school facility. The chunky, low maintenance structure provides your school with additional space without the hassle of opting for an extension or any renovations. The range comes in different styles, depending on what you are planning to use it for. Section the gazebo in half with our glazed panel partitions. Host two smaller classes or two 1-1 meetings at the same time, whilst maintaining privacy and no distractions.
With the outdoor gazebos being slightly more open planned, you may want to consider a cabin for a new classroom. Ideal to locate on the school field or playground, where students can still feel like they are indoors. Alternatively, use the space for a music room, library or a staff room.
