  • Safety as standard
Our entire range is independently tested to comply with European Safety Standard EN71 and are CE rated. It really is better to be safe than sorry!
  •

    10 year timber guarantee

With the exception of some accessories (eg. Ring Trapeze), ALL of the timber in your Climbing Frame has been pressure treated to ensure it lasts. Please be aware most of our competitors dip treat or do not specify the type of treatment they use. If the product is dip treated and not pressure treated they will require you to dismantle the climbing frame and treat all of the parts each and every year which cause you the customer, a lot of hassle and unnecessary time wasted taking it apart and putting it back together again. We offer a genuine 10 year guarantee against rot and insect infestation with no need for you to re-treat the climbing frame, at any point during that 10 years. We’ve also tested our treated timber to EN71-3 to ensure that the chemicals are safe to use on children’s products – which seems obvious but other companies use solvents to treat similar products.
  •

    Metal Ground Anchors

Unlike the pegs that some other companies use to secure their play systems, we believe in burying large diameter galvanised metal discs into the ground to provide a solid stable structure. This way, unless your ground is particularly soft, there's no need to concrete the posts into the ground.
  • 10mm Rope on Swings
We don't use metal chain links which can rust and risk trapping little fingers and hair. Our accessories use 10mm thick rope, pre-assembled with welded plastic joints and are height adjustable.
  •

    Comfortable Swings

Our seats are made from moulded thick plastic that doesn't sacrifice comfort or durability.
  •

    High Quality Accessories - Optional

We don't offer cheap flimsy accessories, unlike some competitors. Our climbing frame accessories are all designed for strength and manufactured to a high quality standard.
  •

    Professional Quality Climbing Stones

Moulded plastic climbing stones can crack - that's why we don't use them! We only use professional grade materials, as seen on proper climbing walls!
  • Rounded Safety Caps
Nuts and bolts are safely covered up with plastic caps for added protection against knocks, bumps and to prevent catching clothing.
  •

    Extra Thick Slides

Our plastic slides are thicker and more durable than any other residential plastic slides on the market. You don't even need to build them! Ours are one single piece of plastic rather than a kit of separate parts.
  •

    Clamp Style Swing Hooks

Our hooks are specially designed to wrap around the timber to help reinforce it. The other type of swing hook that some competitors use is a simple bolt which is drilled through the middle of the timber and can weaken the timber over time as the swing moves back and forth. Our clamp style swing hooks add strength and safety.
  • Strong braces
To ensure a really solid structure we use multiple braces for added strength. We also prefer to use bolts, rather than screws, at key stress points and even pre-drill these holes to help you get the positioning exactly right and save you time.
  • Free fixing pack
We include all of the screws, nails and fixings needed to put your Climbing Frame together, not everyone is that thoughtful! So there's no need to worry about the type of screws, or length of nails etc you might need to get started, it's all there in the pack!

The image above shows a brief reference to how your products will arrive. All of our garden buildings are made from kiln dried quality graded timber, if it is to be stored prior to construction and treatment all parts must be covered to prevent moisture from warping and rotting the timber.

Grandchildren having great fun its well built and looks like it will last many enjoyable years

Excellent service all round. This play set was just the right size and our granddaughters love it. It is solidly built with a lot of attention given to safety details. Well done!

After delivery of the product we discovered the slide was cracked and there was a large chuck missing from the main supporting beam. Because it was delivered on a Friday afternoon after 17:00, no one in the call centre could help us, referring us back to customer services (Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00.) I sent an e-mail with photos to the customer services team on the Friday, and received a reply first thing Monday morning apologise and arranging replacements. Although we did initially have problems, they were resolved swiftly. The customers services team were very helpful and were very quick to rectify the problem. The product itself is fantastic, great quality and looks amazing. One very happy little girl with her birthday present.

Hi Rachel. Thank you for your review. We apologize again for the inconvenience but we're glad that you're deeply satisfied with our service and with the product.

The product was delivered on time as expected, I didn't pay for the two man delivery and was required to assist with the off load as expected. The product appears to have been well made, the instructions were not clear to follow but with some patience and common sense then decisions could be made as to what went were. I asked a friend to help me with construction and it soon became clear that none of us had a spanner or socket set to fit the main bolts, after a visit to the local DIY shop, it became even clearer that the size was not a standard size.........problem was an adjustable spanner could fit but only when the green protective caps were not in place, so it was very time consuming doing this element of the build. I would suggest that you lay all the wooden items out in groups as they are not packed in stages and it was necessary to unpack all items before you start. It would have been useful if the items were packed in the same order as the instructions, however, it soon became apparent that everything must be laid out. Use an electronic screwdriver, don't attempt to do this by man power, there are so many screws your elbows will be shot!!! After a long day on a beautiful day, the structure was complete. We had one very happy little man at the end of the day and two Dads claiming a deserved drink!!! I dug in the ground anchors a couple of days later and this secured the whole thing to planet earth. The product is excellent and the quality is good, but just be prepared to put some time in constructing it. It will take two of you the majority of your day. I now offer my installation services!! Don't let my truthful review put you off buying this product. It is great, our little man loves it, the quality of the product is great and it looks and feels solid. We are sure that our son and his friends will have hours of fun playing. Its well worth the time spent doing the construction properly and safely.

Hi Peter. Thank you for your review and wonderful photos. All our climbing frames need to be build by someone with some DIY skills/experience and a good set of tools. The normal assembly time is 2 days based on 2 people and depending on weather conditions, ability of those constructing, etc.

Very pleased with the finish and quality of the wood. The frame went up quite easily, although my father in law is a carpenter so that probably helped! The only negative I would say is that we probably didn't need to pay for the other delivery man. But other than that good service!
By - Rachel White on May 28,15

I can not describe fully how pleased I am with this climbing frame and the service I received from Dunster House, it was delivered the same week so an added extra bonus. Took two of us to assemble and took a good four hours but we'll worth it. My daughter who is 6 and a half was over the moon with it, she has not stopped playing on it. As we have one child we changed the second swing for a climbing rope and a monkey swing. We very well built and the quality is just what you need for children to play on. I don't see this product as expensive for the quality of it, a very good buy!! Top marks from me

Great quality!!!! Expensive but worth it, see what It's like in 5 years!!!!!!!
By - Ian Leigh-Potts on May 26,14

Delighted with the quest fort triumph, the equipment was delivered exactly when it was arranged, by a very friendly and helpful driver and now that I have finished assembling (no small feat) we are delighted with the finsihed result. I had one or two queries which customer services responded to within the hour and if I had a bigger garden and better weather I could be convinced to purchase another !!! Definately worthy of five stars

good communication from dunster house throughout, prompt delivery by friendly driver, happy with the quality of the quest fort triumph, easy assembly which i managed to do alone, been used daily since put together, a happy 3 year old!! recommend
By - lee daish on Aug 01,12

The image looks great, the price OK, but try putting this thing together! Even worse, try putting it together as quickly as you can with the kids hysterically excited to try their new play area. Without any hesitation whatsoever, this has to be the worst project I have ever embarked on. I did not consider (nor did the instructions tell me) to level the ground to bowling green standard in advance; I am not a carpenter, so now I have a rather wonky looking structure that I worry about every time my kids play on it. Forget buying one of these unless you really can't afford to take the kids down to the municipal playground a few times a week. It'll save you money, time. worry - and be safer!
By - Peter Fowler on Aug 01,12 Dunster House reply:
Thank you for your review. We have always believed that it is self evident that a climbing frame will need to be installed on to flat ground. With your feedback, we have added in the detail "Must be installed on to flat ground" in to our product specification to make this requirement plain and obvious. If installed correctly, our climbing frames are extremely safe, as can be shown with our independent testing to the European Safety Standard, EN71. If children are putting pressure on you to assemble the climbing frame quickly, risking the integrity of the structure, we would recommend installing it when the children are not around.
