We have a vacancy for an Onboarding Assistant reporting to the HR Business Partner – Recruitment. It is desirable that the successful candidate has a CIPD qualification and proven experience of working with Recruitment, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
Some of the duties included in this position will involve:
- Recruitment and Selection, to include: End to end recruitment with least cost and most benefit to business.
- Assisting in Recruitment and Selection strategies
- Writing adverts for current openings, advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks
- Updating ATS system
- Reviewing and identifying new platforms for recruitment
- Sourcing potential candidates, screening CV’s and applications
- Interviewing candidates through various hiring stages, including phone and first round interviews
- Reporting to Managers and Business Partner on the status of positions
- Evaluation of candidates based on their interview
- Determine qualification criteria for each position and updating or writing job descriptions as required
- Answer candidates queries regarding the application process
- Provide interview feedback, where necessary and appropriate
- Writing and sending of offer letters and contracts, organising induction
- Help new hires with the onboarding process and follow through to the end of probation period
- Updating onboarding policies and procedures as required
- Provide administration support to the HR Business Partner when required
- Carry out all other requests from management on an adhoc or regular basis as required
You will also need:
- Good knowledge of Employment and Statutory Legislation
- Demonstrable experience in recruitment
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Exceptional Time Management and Organisational Skills
- Self Motivation and the ability to Work to Deadlines
