Product: Vantage 300 Traditional Summerhouse

A decent product that looks attractive and proved a great addition and focal point in our garden. However, at some points during the build the instructions were rather vague and unhelpful e.g.the two small panels either side of the doors need holes to be drilled through one vertical so that the screw can pass through to the upright that needs to be secured. Allow plenty of time to cut and secure the roof tiles and rather than screw the top cowling down through the tiles and into the timbers, buy a length of threaded stud pierce through lining from below through the cowl and secure into ball. Secure tightly with nut from inside,this looks better and is water tight (no holes through the tiles). Do not forget to remove the thin plastic membrane from the tar strip on the tiles (not mentioned in instructions). Do not use screws to fit window/door bars it looks ugly; use panel pins, also be prepared to chisel cut-outs to fit as they are not a perfect fit.

From the start of the proccess Dunster were brilliant, they forwarded me the relevant plans to prepare the base. I did opt for the shingle roof as I thought that this would finsh the cabin of nicely however, the cabin was delivered with all the parts and went together really well and looks greatbut some 2 weeks later a membraine arrived that was supposed to go undreneath the shingle all a bit late considering I had completed the build, I did contact Dunster who gave me a new delivery of shigle to redo with the membraine underneath this time, but I did feel a bit put out that I didnt receive a good will gesture as I have lost a kew valuable days of my weekend. If you are looking at this review to consider the quility of the Shed then its 100% no regrets
