Have just built the LWB Caravan and my girls love it. All the parts fitted perfectly and it really does look great and feel strong. Would advise to paint/varnish all parts before putting together, and read the instructions carefully, especially re spacing out the boards for the base and the roof, and pre-drillig the holes which can take a long time but well worth it given the length of a lot of the screws. Lots of parts to put together, so would also advise doing this over say a week and putting together/painting different parts so they are dry and you dont get frustrated trying to do the whole thing in one weekend. Overall a lovely product which will hopefully be played with for many years.
I am really delighted with the caravan. Firstly you were so helpful with delivery when I gave you a tight deadline so that I would have it for a birthday. I found the assembly simple to follow with clear illustrations. I found that having a bit of help building the chassis was a benefit but thereafter it was a one man job. The grandchildren love it
After looking at many children's Shepherds Huts I decided to buy from Dunster House and I'm so pleased I did. The lady on the telephone when I ordered was brilliant. It arrived the following week and the two men delivering were very helpful and organised. The easy to follow instructions made it a pleasure to put together. I managed the majority on my own with a little "help" from my husband. I would definitely recommend Dunster House as I found them to be very professional every step of the way.
Dear Mandy. Thank you for your review and beautiful photos.
Great kit, good service and delivery. I used Cuprinol to weatherproof all parts before assembly and siliconed between sidewalks and floor. The roof in two layers of felt. I have put a Maplin solar powered light inside. Made the window shutters hinge. It has waterproof fitted carpet and double doors part glazed. My granddaughter eats in it! Very hard to get her out of it.
