Why choose Dunster House?

  • All our log cabins are made from slow-grown spruce. Whereas, some of our competitors like to use a mix or just cheap pine.
  • All our log cabin windows and doors feature multi-point locking systems and are glazed with toughened glass. We don’t use cheap plastics or thin horticultural glass, as some others do.
  • No need to worry about planning permission, as most of our garden log cabins are under 2.5m tall. However, if in doubt contact your local authority.
  • Our log cabins come with everything. You get the roof, flooring, and necessary fixings all included to make your building experience even easier.

With all our log cabins there are optional extras that you can add. For example, if you are looking for your cabin to hold the warmth, you can get insulation put in to reduce the chill. However, we do tell a lot of our customers that a small oil radiator is adequate to keep the room toasty. Also, we have the option to add cabin furniture like the bar area, an eco guttering system etc.
