Fantastic Log Cabin

I was looking at buying a Log Cabin for the garden for some time, and came across Dunster House, after searching I looked at the 3m x 2m Pent roof, which was perfect for the garden size, so I placed an order for the cabin, and can honestly say that the service I received from the point of sale till the deliver was outstanding from Dunston House, well done to all, and a special thanks to the delivery drivers who were so helpful. The Cabin looks great now installed, very easy to put together with the instructions supplied, high-quality timber and double glazing as well real bonus. Would recommend Dunston House again and again.

WOW fantastic quality

Absolutely amazing project, I was worried when the lorry turned up and dropped loads and I means loads of wood pieces off to me, I even asked is that all mine Lol I looked at the instructions and thought omg this is going to be fun I didnt have a clue and they didnt make sense at all, HOWEVER For myself and husband never done this before it was quite easy it only took us 8 hours for the full frame, roof, windows and door, but the next day we had to felt the roof well that took 8 hours in itself not the easiest thing to do. All in all I recommend everyone to read full instructions all the way through before even picking up any pieces of wood makes it easier.me and husband had a lot of laughs and a lot of bad words out of our mouths lol but its like building lego so easy. I would definitely recommend this log cabin coronet corner to anyone, its really well made and built and definitely a wow factor I love this so much its my pride and Joy my own little sanctuary with my sofa and egg chair in it. I hesitated for a while to buy it and I wished i hadnt I should have bought it straight away and enjoyed summer in it. Absolutely a gem and bargain

Such good service

The porch is superb, despite my Parkinsons I managed to fit it by myself. when replacing the faulty lock assembly which they replaced without any quibble. However I missed a bolt out. When I realised Id missed out the bolt it was still faulty, my fault. Despite it being my fault they replaced the barrel, again no quibble even though I was to blame. Yes the quality of product is excellent but much more important is the quality of their service.

Lovely!

I bought this back in September but have only just had it fitted. It was worth the wait as it is gorgeous. The fitter didn't encounter any issues and said it was a good quality product. It looks lovely and will be great for hot sunny days when needing some shade

Beautiful Porch!

Love this porch design, solid wood and looks really grand and inviting. A huge upgrade for the front of our house! The tradesmen who constructed it were really impressed with the quality of it. Very easy ordering and delivery process, friendly delivery drivers and was kept up to date of the delivery. Would purchase from here again!

Highly recommend 10/10

From start to finish this has been so easy to buy order and build. Quality is excellent with easy to follow instructions. Can be constructed over a long weekend. Perfect in every way and great value.

3M * 3M Terracube

Arrived on due date, deliverey chaps very helpfull. Installation manual is spot on, easy to follow. You will need a second person or third to get the main frame upright. Nice piece kit would highly recommend.

Utopia Gazebo

I searched Gazebos online & came across Dunster House & looked at their products. They looked a lot more solid than their competitors. I decided on the 6 x 6 Utopia, I ordered it & a delivery date was agreed. This is probably petty of me but I was told delivery could be any time from 8:00 am & 6 pm & I would receive a call 1 hour prior to delivery, I waited till noon then went out, 12:30 I got a call to tell me the delivery vehicle was outside my house? I took the delivery. Checked as best I could to make sure everything was there ready for me to construct it, I then realised I had got the Super felt, I assumed that the 3-1 shingles were part of the order, apparently these need to be ordered separately or added to the order. Again probably my fault for not fully reading or checking the drop down menus. Even so I then had to order the 3-1 shingles. Dunster House then changed my original delivery date that was agreed. Construction, I built the gazebo by myself, most of the frame work was easy, once I was able to identify which part was what. When it came to the roof that was a different story, there are no clear instructions for which way up the roof supports should go, impossible to tell from the diagrams in the instructions or any information on how much overhang to leave. Correct me if the information is there. Fixing the 3-1 shingles again just work it out yourself. I worked out to make the ridges to. So the issues I have raised are why I gave 4 out of 5 for this product. It is beautiful & a solid build but if you do not have some DIY knowledge I would say it would be difficult to construct.

Excellent Pergola

I purchased the pergola online and within a few days received a phone call from customer services to organise a delivery date and details of my house and access to garden. I've a friend who is a joiner so asked him to assemble the pergola for me. It took him a few hours and required a second person to assist (as advised online and in the instructions), but he was very pleased with the instructions and quality of the product. It looks great in my garden and fit's perfectly into a 2.5m x 2.5m area in the corner of my garden against a fence which provides protection from the win and rain. The pergola roof adds to the protection (while still allowing in all the natural light and heat from the sun) making it the perfect place to sit, even in the wind and rain. I've added some lights which allow the family to it outside at night and the children can't wait to sit undercover while it is snowing. Due to the location of our house, we do get a lot of wind coming in at the top of our back garden so I did notice a little bit of noise and movement of the roof. The joiner came back and added in a few extra screws and now there is no movement at all. This won't be an issue for most people however and it was a very easy and cheap fix. I'm delighted with the quality, style and look of the pergola and look forward to using it for many years, in all weather.

Good product

The process of buying was straight forward. The delivery came extremely quick which caught me off guard. The two delivery people were lovely and very, very helpful. Im in heart failure and I couldn't have done it without they help, big thank you. It was moved into my garage and I did notice one or two pieces were a little twisted but nothing that couldn't be sorted. They is one major issue, THE ROOF. I went for a upgrade roof with insulation. The roof membrane is cheap and reminds me of a plastic bag material, so its gone in the recycling bin and a new upgrade will be purchased when we get to it. The major issue is the roof felt adhesive, they supply roof lap felt adhesive, 3 little tubes which is for repairs only and not to stick down a hole felt roof. You will need on a 8f by 8f a 5L tin of Master Bitumen roof felt adhesive. NOT SUPPLIED. Now I did phone but they wouldn't have it and said that is what they use. They are wrong. You can buy the adhesive from Amazon or BQ etc. I used a pedestal system for the base and Protek wood preserve, 3 coats plus protek wood stain on top. I love it especially with the roof improvements and I sure it will last years. Yes I would recommend and the service was great and the price was really good. Extremely pleased.
