Capture Your Creation Competition Winner!

To brighten up the mood for the month of April, we ran our photo competition, asking all our lovely customers to send across their garden product photos. We absolutely love seeing all the wonderful things our customers do with their garden building/structure after making their purchase with us. The amount of photos we received were incredible, and they were all a delight to look at. It really was difficult to make a decision on who will be crowned the ‘Capture Your Creation’ winner, but we finally decided!

Our Winner! 

Congratulations Chris on winning our competition, your photos were stunning! Chris purchased the Severn Warmalog insulated cabin as an office hub for his business – KLF Developments.

Chris writes: “It’s been a very positive experience dealing with Dunster House.”

“My work as a new-home builder – KLF Developments Ltd – is split between building sites and working from home. I required a dedicated work space at home, to clearly differentiate between the inevitable distraction of being in the house – and at work.

A garden office seemed the most cost effective solution; but build from scratch or buy a self-assembly building? Research brought me to Dunster House and I visited their nearest showroom to have a close look at the assembled examples. I was impressed with the quality of materials and the non-pressured sales process. I ordered an insulated cabin, 5.0 meters by 3.0 meters.

The building arrived, as promised within three weeks, and I’d already created a base in concrete. Leave yourself plenty of time for assembly, these things cannot be rushed. I primed all component parts inside and out before assembly, because I want the building to last many years. 

Personalising my new office – although I build dazzling new houses for a living – has been real fun. The outside colour is Cuprinol ‘Willow’ (three coats), which around the white windows and door frames gives it a fresh country look. Inside I installed five double sockets and two levels of lighting, plus hardwired wi-fi from our house.”

KLF Developments is a family run business and operates in Dorset, mainly in and around Poole and Bournemouth, creating quality bespoke homes.

Here are all the lovely images taken by Chris himself! The exterior is a gorgeous colour, and the inside looks very fresh and seems like such a great working environment! The log cabin looks like it really brightens up the whole garden!
