The Millbrook Golf Club

The Millbrook Golf Club is a beautiful club in Bedfordshire, with many years of history. As an established golf club, The Millbrook are always investing back into it, especially as it is owned by their members.

Millbrook Golf Club’s Garden Buildings

We were able to help The Millbrook, with three different garden structures, providing additional storage space for golf equipment as well as a sheltered social area for their club guests. All the buildings were erected around March 2020, which had its benefits on the business during lockdown.

Leviathan Gazebo 

The golf club use the Leviathan Gazebo, a classic and chunky shelter, to house a seating area for all guests. During the summer months, they were able to host BBQs and events with club members. In addition, having this shelter in place during COVID-19 allowed them to stay open as a club and provide their services as usual. The 6m x 3m gazebo protects members/visitors from the elements, while allowing them to socialise in a safe environment.

Deore Double Wooden Garage

The Deore Double Doored Garage is the perfect structure to store all buggies away, protecting them from adverse weather. Having a fully sheltered garage for the buggies now means that they will also last a lot longer. therefore, they won’t require replacing as quickly. In addition, this is far securer and reduces the chance of any equipment getting stolen. This has also had an impact on insurance, meaning the club has to pay less.

Members and visitors have commented how smart they look and they have really enhanced the look around the club. The wood is excellent to work with and treated with a good wood oil, I can see them serving us well for many years to come. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Dunster House again in future.”

Lantera Log Cabin (Discontinued)

The sleek modern Lantera Log Cabin is in use as a starter shed. Here they are able to display key information, including the golf course map. When teaching during heavy downpours, players and the instructors can hide away in the warm log cabin, rather than standing out in the cold with an umbrella.

We personally visited The Millbrook in October 2021 to see how they are getting on with using their Dunster House Garden Buildings. During the visit, we met up with club manager Rob Brightman who has been a club member for many years, and now proudly operates it.
