Mark’s Luxury Garden Office

Mark’s Luxury Garden Office

Mark works for a large insurance company as a relationship manager and works from home. Therefore, he needed to invest in a dedicated office space. As Mark’s contract to work from home wasn’t just temporary it was important to split home and work, as it would be for many people.

If you are struggling to achieve a work-life balance, then you might want to consider investing in a luxury garden office like Mark.

Why did Mark want a Luxury Garden Office?

Working at least 8 hours a day for 5 days a week is not something you can just do from your lounge sofa or kitchen worktop.

As mentioned previously, the first thing Mark wanted to separate was work and home, because it was getting difficult for him to switch off in the evening when the working day was over. On the other hand, working in communal areas of the house meant it was easy to be distracted either by people or household chores.

When working from home you want it to be free from distractions but also comfortable and warm. It is a year-round space that you are going to use day in, day out so personalise the area to fit your wants and needs. The reason Mark chose the Titania 3.5m x 2.5m Garden Office was because of the insulation and uPVC windows and doors. These properties were key to Mark as he knew he was going to be spending a fair amount of time in the office, come rain or shine.

Inside Mark’s Luxury Garden Office

Mark loves interior design, so made sure his new working environment was stylish as well as cosy for him.  The artwork on the wall is where the overall design came from. Even with only 3.5m x 2.5m worth of space he has got plenty of room for a snug chair, a desk, a TV on the wall and some storage units.

The office is located at the bottom of the garden, which gives Mark the illusion that he is leaving for work every morning. Therefore, once he arrives at his office, he wanted to walk into somewhere that is inviting and enjoyable to be in.

From Luxury Garden Office to Weekend Social Space

Even though the Titania was purchased to be primarily used as an office by Mark, there is the option for it to be utilised as a weekend entertainment spot. Having a room at the bottom of the garden means he can escape and relax even when the weather isn’t so great. The lighting in the garden creates a great evening atmosphere and makes the whole area glow.

Mark said “It is great as an office, but also we find that on the weekend we will sit in the garden because the sunbeams towards the bottom. So, in the summer it will become not just an office but a hangout area too.”
