Pressure Treated Sheds Features

Pressure treated shed panel system

Our pressure treated sheds are made using half height panels, attached to a robust 70mm x 35mm frame, for a simplified construction. The panels are made using 16mm shiplap timber. The shiplap has a 12mm overlap, larger than the industry norm. This design reduces the chance of holes appearing in your shed, as timber naturally expands and contracts.

All of the timber which goes into manufacturing our sheds are pressure treated after being cut to size. This is to ensure that all pieces of timber used to construct your shed are fully treated and does not leave ends without protection, which can happen if the process is carried out before the timber is cut to size. The process allows us to provide a 10 year timber guarantee against rot and insect infestation. This includes the floor bearers on the sheds.

4mm toughened glass

Each shed window is made from 4mm toughened glass, making our windows more durable than the standard 3mm horticultural glass or Perspex. Our windows are internally beaded, preventing the windows from being removed from the outside.

We've made sure that our sheds are secure, weatherproof and strong enough to last the test of time, if maintained carefully. Since sheds are predominantly used for storage we have made sure that almost all of your storage needs can be met with the height of the shed. Just under 2.5m high, so you don't need to worry about planning permission, the internal eaves are a high 1.82m/6'. That's plenty of room to store gardening and DIY equipment or your husband!

Many of our sheds have double barn doors, with a walk through width of 1.20m (3'11"), making moving objects in and out of the shed easier. Each door has three barn style hinges adding to the feel of a traditional British shed. To secure your shed and its contents we provide a clasp and hasp locking system with each shed, all you need to do is add a padlock!
