The finished article is very good, bar some very minor irritations, such as the window beading not covering the internal aluminium frames of the double glazed panels, so you see a silver edge around the windows and doors. One strong criticism we would make is that the instructions aren't well organised, have no index, TOC or glossary. A good introduction with a general description of the whole process would have been helpful along with better quality illustrations. We wasted time wading through the instructions to find information that could have been easy to find. We needed to make a flat base from a considerable slope and asked if we could use any other aggregate as only sand is recommended in the instructions. When we asked for advice, the response was essentially 'this is what the manual says'. ie. engagement was avoided and strictly email only. In the end we used ballast for the volume and sand to finish off. We didn't use use the pine strip floorboards, preferring 18mm plywood to give a more durable floor. We think this would be a good option when ordering the cabin. We had a pain of glass (one side of a double glazed unit) shatter in the garage when we tried to move it. Dunster said firstly they wouldn't help because it was past 30 days and then accused us of mishandling. Faults (inclusions and internal stress) are rare, but they are the reason for spontanous shattering of this nature. Dunster's attitude was 100% dismissive. They couldn't supply another for several weeks, so we source another costing £40. No problem, but the fact that Dunster were prepared to have a fight over such a small sum was irritating to say the least. They will not speak on the phone. We were planning to buy another cabin, but we were left with a bad feeling.

The product is 1st class. However at point of purchase I was not informed that there was no provision for the additional window. Also the after sales service is crap and the customer service doesn't appear to exist. I had a query to which I got no response. Dunster you need to address these issues immediately!

I assembled it myself, over 4 days, the ''hardest'' bit being the Shingle Tiles. But I was very obsessive about the construction. The design and build makes this a joy to assemble, a real big boys jigsaw. But with attention to the''squareness'' and a precise level, it worked out a treat. Congratulations on the quality of manfacture and the timber. Very happy with the result. Well what can I say about this company shocking I called tye sales girl placed my order she didn't know a lot really then told me to wait for a call the driver will call me to arrange delivery wow 4 days past and no call so I called them and was then told they were awaiting a call from me shocking what a thick idiot can't even confirm the correct sales pitch need to go back to training and stop painting your nails love so arranged delivery and was told the driver has 4 drops but they don't know which route he will take and who is first wow this is well planned out then ? So checking me order and the van on route he seemed to do things arse about face clearly didn't know what he is doing and where he is going well this review is going all ove facebook the more sale I lose for these guys the better and going all over my trade page picked the wrong person to mess about dunster
