There are many types of insulation on the market, however we supply all our Log Cabins and Garden Offices with Polyisocyanurate insulation, an insulation that is far more superior than Rockwool or Bubble Wrap. 

Insulating your garden building can be done in three different ways. You can simply add roof insulation to a log cabin, choose a fully insulated log cabin or even choose a fully insulated garden office. 

Let’s delve a little deeper and break down the options for you, to help you choose which type of insulation is perfect for your lifestyle.

Adding Roof Insulation 

Any of our log cabins that have 19mm thick rood boards, are compatible with our roof insulation. The insulation is provided in thick 25mm polyisocyanurate sheets which are already bonded to the 10mm thick MR P5 boarding, making installation simple and efficient. 

It’s quick and easy to fit the roof insulation to the cabin. The thick sheets of polyisocyanurate need to be screwed down into the roof board below - creating a sandwich effect. There is no alignment to the purlins required, due to the sturdy and thick material of the roof boards. 

Fully Insulated Log Cabins

Choose a fully insulated log cabin - our WarmaLog range, where the floor and roof is insulated at no extra cost. Not to mention that the 62mm walls are insulated, which is equivalent to the U-Value that  140mm thick walls would provide. 

The insulation is already sandwiched between the logs of the wall making erecting the building simple and easy. However, the roof and wall insulation will need to be installed either yourself or the handyman installing the building for you. Again, it is a quick job, as mentioned before the roof insulation comes in 25mm thick panels, and the floor insulation just sits on the beares once cut to size and the clips have been placed on.

Garden Offices 

Up the level, with the best of the best and choose a Garden Office. The Titania and Helena Garden Office have a unique advanced type of roof insulation that not only keeps the building insulated but is fully waterproof! The IzoPanel roof consists of the high quality stiff polyisocyanurate core which is assembled and brought together securely with overlapping cladding in a trapezoidal profile (as shown in the image below). This style of profile makes the joint stronger which prevents any form of water ingress.
