Our Winners! The Dunster House Photo Competition

We would like to congratulate Paul and Darren for winning the Dunster House photo competition this month. Both of their Dunster House Garden products are absolutely stunning, we simply couldn’t pick just one winner! We loved both their stories and decided to share them with our readers.

Darren’s Log Cabin

Darren’s Log Cabin, the Rhine 4mx7m , was purchased as a way to remember his late father, Gordon. Darren writes:

“My Dad – Gordon Millar passed away after a short battle with cancer. He loved a pint, loved sports and his favourite football team was Sheffield Wednesday.

I have quite a large family and network of friends and I thought… ‘what better way to keep my dad’s memory alive than to build a bar in his memory and enjoy more precious moments with my family and friends’.

Gordon’s Bar was born.

The bar has a full-size pool table, a bar with working pumps, a 65″ TV and various other items.

So far this year we have had barbecues and watched many sporting events such as FA cup final, World Cup final, Premier League games and of course Sheffield Wednesday games.

Paul’s Gazebo

Paul’s 3×3 Leviathan Gazebo takes your breath away.

Paul, our second winner, showcased his amazing 3×3 Leviathan Gazebo.

Situated in a beautifully illuminated garden, with various seating areas, colourful plants and vibrant features, it towers over the garden as a central element. Paul has a passion for garden design, and drew up the plans for his very own garden.

 ‘This design was heavily based on an Alfresco lifestyle, which plays a huge part in our life for relaxing and socialising, the water features and lighting fitted helps with the ambiance and additional sound’

After choosing the wooden gazebo option as a covering for their jacuzzi, Paul and Julie ordered a Dunster House Leviathan gazebo online. He built it himself and is thrilled with the results.

‘Now the gazebo is in place, all the electrics and lighting fitted, which looks stunning at night, again adding more time to enjoy the garden at night, either sat in the jacuzzi or viewing from the other 2 zones.’
