Solar Powered Extractor Fan

Unlike standard extractor fans, this model is solar powered, making it both eco-friendly and cost-effective. A built-in rechargeable battery provides backup during low-radiation periods, and optional mains recharging for the battery ensures performance throughout the year. This also makes it far easier to fit.

It comes equipped with an integrated sensor that continuously monitors indoor moisture levels. Once humidity passes a set threshold, the fan activates automatically, drawing damp air out and helping to prevent condensation, mould and mildew.

This solar-powered fan is perfect for areas with high moisture like bathrooms and bedrooms, or anywhere ventilation upgrades are needed without major electrical works. The only requirement is a window with a panel that can fit our product without interfering with the functions of opening windows.

Fitting an extractor fan would normally require a qualified person to install an isolating power supply, but with our battery powered extractor fan it’s easy to fit even as a DIY project.

Get power from the sun and keep your energy bill low thanks to our integrated solar panels. Charge your battery with solar energy or from the mains if you don’t have enough daylight.

No need to check the switch is on, the fan is activated by the humidity level and begins to suck out damp air as soon as the level is reached.

With no mains power to connect and a solid unit that easily fits into a window frame, it’s simple to fit and seal this unit and give ventilation to any room with a window.

Easy extraction without the volume, our extractor fan runs at only 36 decibels – so quiet you’ll hardly notice it when it starts to run.

A humidistat extractor fan is a ventilation fan with a built-in sensor that automatically detects moisture levels in the air. When humidity rises above a set threshold, the fan switches on to remove damp air and prevent condensation, mould, or mildew. Once the air returns to normal, it switches off again, making it energy-efficient and low-maintenance.

We use slow-grown spruce timber to make this Porch. Spruce is less porous than Pine and so less likely to shrink, warp or split.

Extractor fans work by pulling damp air out of a room and expelling it outside through a vent or duct. This airflow helps reduce condensation, control humidity and improve air quality, especially in bathrooms and kitchens. They’re powered by an electric motor and this model operates automatically with a sensor that detects humidity.

A humidistat is a device that measures and controls the level of humidity in the air. It works like a thermostat but for moisture, triggering connected appliances such as extractor fans or dehumidifiers when humidity goes above or below a set level. This helps maintain a comfortable and healthy indoor environment while preventing problems like condensation and mould.
