The Base:
Before you even start to look at what drinks you are going to be stocking up on, you need to see what space your garden has to offer. Measure up the area you have vacant for your garden bar and then head on over to our products page to see what you can get.

The Furniture:
Furniture is essential for your Garden Bar. One of the many benefits of having your own social space is that you can customise it however you wish. The main items needed would be a bar to prepare your drinks, somewhere to sit and a table. If you are not 100% sure on what style you want to go for, have a look around the web for some pub/bar interior inspiration – even your local could provide some nifty ideas!
Remember to measure up everything you come across to make sure you have enough room to move around. Once everything is built and installed. There’s nothing worse than having no space to dance when your favourite song comes on.
If you are a DIY superstar, you could even have a go at making your own table and seating area, the ultimate way to make your garden bar completely unique.
Budget depending, you could add some exciting game furniture, like a pool table, an air hockey table, a darts board or an arcade machine. A fantastic way to make it a fun place, whatever the age.
The Decorations:
Now that you have your garden bar constructed and your furniture sorted, it’s time to think about the finishing touches and decorations. If you’ve gone for a theme, now is the time to really let that unravel and let your imagination run wild. Below are some ideas to get your creative juices flowing
- Colour: Do you have a particular shade of purple that you just love? Try fitting it in with some accessories. Maybe a splash of paint will help you accentuate your theme even more. Either way a pop of colour will make your garden bar come to life and be the fun place everyone wants to visit.
- Lighting: This is an important part of your garden bar. It really brings out the atmosphere that you want to create. There are so many different styles you can go for, so make sure you do a bit of browsing before buying.
- Wall Art: Whether you’re a big football fanatic or obsessed with pop art, get something fun up on the walls and hang up some posters/ artwork/ signs/ photos etc. This will make your garden bar more personal and a space that is unique to you.
- Plants: Depending on the vibe you want to go for, indoor plants can really make a fresh and welcoming space. We quite like the following: Monstera Deliciosa, Chlorophytum Comosum, and you can never go wrong with succulents in pretty pots, all of which are fairly easy to look after. Your local garden centre may have a nice range of indoor plants.
- Accessories: Additional accessories like cushions, throws, coasters and ornaments will add a bit of comfort to your garden bar, the finishing touches to decorating.
The Hosting:
Your garden bar is now ready to go! All it needs are your favourite drinks and snacks stocked, and some guests to party the night away with. A garden bar will be the perfect spot to host parties, games nights, movies nights, karaoke nights and, much more.
