Arctic Eco Composting Toilet Overview

The Arctic Composting Toilet is a sanitation solution for locations without access to water or connection to a sewer system. The modern Wood Composite toilet is not only solar powered but also has an automatic light for ease when using the toilet at night. Windows let in natural light during the day, and there is a multi-charging point to help keep your phone charged at all times. The urinal is flushed with hand-washing water, and the waste can be removed safely to a soakaway.

Please check with your local authority before disposing or using any of the waste associated with this product, and do not use the waste on areas of the garden growing food products.

We are known for providing exceptionally high-quality products at affordable prices. Be wary of competitors who offer lower-spec products, cut corners to save on prices and try to upsell you on necessary items such as flooring, roofing material and safety features!

To ensure the very best quality, we only use slow-grown White Spruce Timber, which is harvested in cold climates to ensure solid, dense log rings. This gives the wood superior strength and longevity, and a much more consistent colour than the likes of Pine.

We include all of the screws, nails and fixings that you will need to put your garden building together – not many of our competitors are that thoughtful. This eliminates the need to worry about the type of screws or the length of nails you might need to get started – it’ll all be with your delivery.

Maintaining your Composting Toilet is easy. You do not need to move the whole toilet to service it; you can simply remove the top half. From here, you have access to the full tank which can be removed, transported and emptied for composting

The Arctic Composting Toilet features a solar powered fan assisted ventilation pipe, which helps to remove unpleasant odours.  This fan actively draws the odour out of the structure rather than waiting for it to rise, a process called positive ventilation. The fan will continue running for approximately 15 minutes after you’ve left the structure, in similar fashion to a domestic extraction fan.

The waste deposited in the 44 litre collection tank gets sprinkled by peat from the upper tank absorbing moisture from the waste. Peat is a unique natural antiseptic and absorbent, which provides a sanitary coating for the waste, initiates the beginning of the composting process and removes unpleasant odour. The air vents also help to minimise odours.

Eco Composting Toilet Distribution of Peat on Waste Reduces Odours

The Composting Toilet allows the reuse of waste after being separated by the Urine Diversion System. By storing and following the correct procedures for an adequate time, it can be reused as either fertiliser or compost.

Eco Composting Toilet Reusable Waste

The Arctic Composting Toilet does not use any water so is an ideal solution for private Holiday Homes, Gardens, Farms and many more that can all benefit from a waterless toilet (water is still needed in a container for use with the sink).

Arctic Eco Composting Toilet

Our Composting Toilets can stand independently from electricity sources due to the solar panel on the roof. This solar panel charges a 12V battery pack, which in turn powers an electric water pump that feeds water through to the sink so you can wash your hands. This also powers a multi-charging point which helps to keep your phone charged.

Privacy is paramount whilst you are in the bathroom, especially if being used by members of the public at allotments, festivals, campsites or holiday homes. This is why our unique WPC Eco Toilet is securable internally via a knob slide flush bolt with vacant/engaged notifier, and externally via a ring handled gate latch to ensure the door does not swing open when unlocked.

The walls and roof of the Eco Composting Toilet are made out of Wood Polymer Composite (WPC), making the toilet resistant to extreme temperatures either high above or below zero, and UV exposure. This increases the buildings longevity and endurance. WPC is a relatively light material to carry, making transportation to rural areas easier. Coming in flat pack for ease of assembly at any destination, the WPC is virtually maintenance free. WPC is a durable material that can easily be wiped down to keep it clean.
