Good communications and helpful delivery driver - good price too

They said it, it happened to time and to budget, and the materials are good - well done.

Good product. Good delivery. A bit expensive when essential extras are added. Only real complaint is that all the different wood sections arrive all mixed up so you have to sort them from diagrams and measurements. You will need to double their website price to get a useable cabin.

Excellent Service and communication

Absolutely brilliant service and excellent product for the price paid. Delivery was also fast and efficient. The only reason for a 4 star is that the pictures on the site don`t clearly show the door hinges which were supplied and even though the doors supplied have a decent 3 point locking system, the hinges are exposed badly and easily hacksawn off, additionally the tiny bolts on the inside door basically allows an intruder to just yank the door handle and both doors will open with some force if they were not to saw off the hinges. The other issue is the roof can be lifted up with no effort from any corner also making this less secure. Suggested improvements are, bigger inside bolt system and better protected hinging system. The storm brace should be standard with this and that would secure the roof from intruders also. This would then be a perfect product. Since I have bought a door security bar which will span the width of the double doors to secure them and also made my own storm braces Making this workshop very secure now.

Before purchasing this cabin, I took time to look at other makes. No other supplier / manufacturer seemed to offer the same cabin size and material(s) specification for anything like the price quoted by Dunster. I then looked at ALL reviews (including YouTube) and these were interesting to say the least - the 'critical' ones that is. When I decided what I wanted from the Dunster web site, I made a phone call, spoke to a polite salesperson who took my order, confirmed it back to me. There was no sign of 'pushiness' or 'pressure' selling at all. This seemed at odds with some reviews but then I realized - if you phone up and don't know what you really want / can afford and the salesperson is trying to 'guide' you . . . well its down to you. Dunster state continually that the base must be level / flat. This is a 'No-brainer' but credit to Dunster, they do reiterate it. So when someone has a dodgy builder put a base down that is anything but level / flat why do they blame Dunster for refusing to erect a cabin on it??? They were ripped off by the builder / accepted shoddy work and then want to pass it on . . . just stupidity. Within 2 hours of placing my order, I was informed of a delivery date which was earlier and better than I had expected. On the day of delivery, the driver was extremely helpful not only in offloading but also in placing out the timbers in an order. Building the cabin - the quality of all the materials was first class. The machining and profiling of the timbers was also first class and as such made assembly very straight forward. Just one more point regarding peoples criticism of having to email customer services - I made one email request for confirmation on a 'minor' point regarding roof shingles prior to assembly, I received a reply within 45mins providing more than enough 'extra' detail and during construction the answer to my query became evident anyway. There is nothing wrong with emails - as long as you know what to ask and how to ask. In conclusion, I would have no hesitation in recommending Dunster. The product and service are first class which cannot be said for all customers . . . From

Excellent item, one person 1day up to apex needed 2 with apex and roof up and water tight in 2 days, would use again.

Ordering was easy and the cabin arrived on the specified date. Tracking could be done as well which gave a good indication of arrival time.
