Generally very satisfied with the product and service. The components were tidy, well finished and fitted together very well. There were not quite enough nails supplied to fit all the roof boards and it would have been helpful to have some advice on the layout and best way to fit the shingle tiles rather than having to work it out as you went along. However, I am very pleased with the finished product and have received complimentary remarks from neighbours.

The product was delivered on time even if the driver was a bit grumpy saying that the delivery should be at the curb and not moved to a hard standing only 4m from the gravel entrance. The timber was in the main of decent quality but one of the main support timbers (3m long) was badly warped. My first mistake was to try to fix it even though the joint could not be butted together properly. As a result the roof timbers would not fit properly and several of the t & g boards had to be cut to fit. I had other problems when erecting the carcus and emailed the company for help. The company responded but were not helpful claiming that the answer to one issue was “customer choice”. I viewed some of the company videos and found the YouTube presentations to differ from the written instructions provided. Finally, after many hours I finished erecting the gazebo structure and started fitting the roof shingles. My advice to anyone would be to buy the shingles separately as the ones provided were of lower quality than expected and were easily damaged when standing at the ridge in hot weather conditions some of the shingles melted and were damaged.. in the end the work was completed and the result is just about okay. Time will tell if the structure lasts and is waterproof. All in all, I suppose you get what you pay for. In my case, I would recommend not purchasing this particular gazebo. It was a cut price purchase and the product (and the company to some extent) did not come up to the standards I had hoped for. Sorry for the review, but it gives my views about the product. Great climbing frame my boys (3 & 5 year olds) love, although be warned, the monkey bars are very high which I didn’t properly consider when ordering. Hopefully the boys will know their limits, but I did end up ordering two large crash mats to put underneath that evening! Took me and my father in law most of the day to put up including levelling off the ground.

We bought the Balcony fort for our daughters 5th birthday and she loves it! The purchase and delivery were great, and when in the delivery notes section I asked for delivery to be delayed for a week to maintain the surprise, they phoned me the next day to discuss and were as helpful as possible. Just bear in mind some of the packages are up to 40kg so need 2 people to unload (the delivery guy is 1 of them) - if you don't have someone available on the delivery day who can lift 20kg (like my pregnant wife!) then book the 2 person delivery upgrade for £25. My only criticism is that the majority of the screw holes aren't pre-drilled so you need to measure and drill probably close to 300 holes in the various planks, before assembly! That's tricky to do in the dark after bedtime, if you are trying to assemble this product as a surprise without the child seeing it!! I'm a fairly experienced DIYer and I did as much as I could in the garage before hand but it took about 14 hours to fully construct, so bear that in mind if you have a tight deadline! Once built though it's solid, looks great and I honestly can't fault it! If only all the holes would have been pre-drilled it would have saved a few hours (working out where to put them takes longer than drilling them) and I would have definitely given it 5 stars!
