Generally very satisfied with the product and service. The components were tidy, well finished and fitted together very well. There were not quite enough nails supplied to fit all the roof boards and it would have been helpful to have some advice on the layout and best way to fit the shingle tiles rather than having to work it out as you went along. However, I am very pleased with the finished product and have received complimentary remarks from neighbours.

The product was delivered on time even if the driver was a bit grumpy saying that the delivery should be at the curb and not moved to a hard standing only 4m from the gravel entrance. The timber was in the main of decent quality but one of the main support timbers (3m long) was badly warped. My first mistake was to try to fix it even though the joint could not be butted together properly. As a result the roof timbers would not fit properly and several of the t & g boards had to be cut to fit. I had other problems when erecting the carcus and emailed the company for help. The company responded but were not helpful claiming that the answer to one issue was “customer choice”. I viewed some of the company videos and found the YouTube presentations to differ from the written instructions provided. Finally, after many hours I finished erecting the gazebo structure and started fitting the roof shingles. My advice to anyone would be to buy the shingles separately as the ones provided were of lower quality than expected and were easily damaged when standing at the ridge in hot weather conditions some of the shingles melted and were damaged.. in the end the work was completed and the result is just about okay. Time will tell if the structure lasts and is waterproof. All in all, I suppose you get what you pay for. In my case, I would recommend not purchasing this particular gazebo. It was a cut price purchase and the product (and the company to some extent) did not come up to the standards I had hoped for. Sorry for the review, but it gives my views about the product. Very happy with the Atlas Open Gazebo 3.2m. It was delivered in timescale stated. I paid a builder to create patio base & erect the gazebo. No problems were encountered with the instructions and the finished gazebo looks very sturdy and exactly what we wanted. Other reviews have mentioned the lack of a finial to hide the shingle folds on the roof apex. I found a metal finial online which I'm hoping will do the job, shame Dunster House don't supply one.

The gazebo was delivered on time as pre arranged. It took me 2 days to build on my own, that is without putting shingles on roof. The instruction leaflt is good although there should be more details on how to fit shingles, had to get some info on You Tube. Be warned this part of the construction is very time consuming, it took me 3 days to do. So in total 5 days on my own and fully finished. The quality of the timber is excellent, the gazebo looks lovely in the garden, we are well pleased with it. Looking forward to using it now. Would highly recommend Dunster House.
