Description

This eco-toilet is made from Wood Plastic Composite. The Urine Diversion System separates urine and faeces, eliminating odours and composting to create fertilizer. A 12V solar-powered battery (battery not included) powers an automatic infrared (PIR) sensor for the light and an extractor fan. Made from Wood Plastic Composite (WPC), it's easier to clean and resistant to extreme temperatures. We use recycled materials where possible and, as such, the colour of the plastic subframe is defined by the recyclable material used in its production. Please check with your local authority before disposing or using any of the waste associated with this product.

Product Features

Humanitarian Reusable Waste
Humanitarian Reusable Waste II

Reusable waste

The Compost Toilet allows reusing wastes after being separated by the Urine Diversion System. By storing them and following the correct procedures for an adequate time they can be reused as either fertilizer or compost.

Humanitarian Ventilation
Humanitarian Ventilation II

VENTILATION

The Compost Toilet has a ventilation pipe with a fixed air vent to direct the flow of air and ensure your eco toilet is well ventilated.

Humanitarian Waterless
Humanitarian Waterless II

Waterless

Our Compost Toilet features a Urine Diversion System which does not use any water, reducing the water commonly wasted on over flushing, and is ideal for locations without access to a sewerage system or have a lack of water.

Humanitarian Solar Powered Solar Panel
Humanitarian Solar Powered Box

Solar powered

Our Composting Toilets can stand independently from electricity sources due to the solar panel on the roof. This solar panel charges a 12V battery pack (not supplied) which, in turn, powers an electric water pump that feeds water through to the sink so you can wash your hands. This also powers a multi-charging point which helps to keep the phones charged.

Humanitarian Secure Lock
Humanitarian Secure Lock II

Secure

Privacy is paramount whilst you are in the bathroom, especially if being used by members of the public at allotments, festivals, campsites or holiday homes which is why our unique WPC Eco Toilet is securable internally via a knob slide flush bolt with vacant/engaged notifier and externally via a ring handled gate latch to ensure the door does not swing open when unlocked.

Humanitarian Wood Plastic Composite (WPC)
Humanitarian Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) II

Wood Plastic Composite

The walls and roof of the Eco Toilet are made out of Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) making the toilet resistant to extreme temperatures either high above or below zero, high winds and UV exposure increasing the buildings longevity and endurance. In place of our normal timber designs, WPC is lighter making transportation to rural areas easier. Coming in flat pack for ease of assembly at any destination, the WPC is virtually maintenance free.

Humanitarian Avoid Planning Permission Product
Humanitarian Avoid Planning Permission Icon

Avoid planning permission

All our buildings marked with this symbol are under 2.5m high.
Why does this matter? Well, under permitted development rights someone can place a garden building as close to a boundary as they want without planning permission unlike buildings that are over 2.5m high which would need to be placed over 2m away from any boundary.
If you want to find out more about permitted development rights see our planning guide
How high is this Eco-Toilet?
It is 2.45m (8' 0") high
Does this Eco-toilet need to be plumbed in to a water source?
This Eco-Toilet does not need to be plumbed in to use. The sink system works off a container that must be filled up with water. The Toilet system is designed to not need water to function.
Can this Eco-Toilet be painted?
This Eco-toilet can be painted to suit your space.
Do you need to run electrics to this Eco-Toilet?
This Eco-Toilet is self-sustaining due to the solar panel, which powers the water pump and 12v light.
