Pressure Treated Bearers

Pressure-treated bearers come standard with all of our garden rooms. In these bearers, we have used our treatment tanks to transfer the treatment deep into the timber. This will make it last longer than if it was simply dip-treated, as pressure treatment penetrates the deeper levels of the wood instead of just the surface. 100% Slow-Grown, Sustainably Sourced Spruce

Slow-grown spruce is less susceptible to natural faults than some cheaper alternatives, such as pine. The slow-growing process means that it is stronger due to its tighter grain, so you can expect fewer cracks and splits. The benefits aren’t just structural, they are aesthetic also. Spruce is a whitewood which makes it less likely to discolour and less resinous than some other options on the market.

Avoid Planning Permission

The majority of our garden buildings are less than 2.5m high, which means they are typically protected by your permitted development rights. Don’t think that means our garden buildings are short you should still find you have ample headspace. So, maximise the space in your gardens without limits. If your garden building is over 2.5m it will need to be over 2m from the boundaries of your property.
