Product Features

Arbours Comfortable Design Gerlinde
Arbours Comfortable Design Gerlinde II

Comfortable Design

Much thought has gone into making the Gerlinde a comfortable place to sit. The back of the benches is slightly reclined so that you won't have to sit bolt upright. There is a corner table where you can put drinks or a book, and each bench has two wide arm rests.

Trellis Panels For Climbing Plants

The sides of the Gerlinde Arbour Corner Seating are a decorative trellis design, which help to make it a truly "stand-out" garden feature. The trellis squares are designed to support climbing plants such as roses, honeysuckle or wisteria. The pressure treated roof timbers are also spaced a suitable distance apart for more plants to be trained on top to produce shade. However, you can decorate your Gerlinde with anything that can be wound through the trellis. Ribbons? Fairy lights? The choice is yours.

Arbours Pressure Treated Gerlinde

pressure treated

By pressure treating our spruce timber we protect it from rot and insect infestation. The pressure treatment method forces the treatment deep into the timber using a large tank. Due to this costly but effective process, we can offer our customers a genuine 10 year guarantee against rot and insect infestation on all of the Gerlinde timbers.

Arbours Screws & Installation Manual Included Gerlinde

Screws & Installation Manual Included

We include all the screws, nails and fixings needed to put your garden building together - not everyone is that thoughtful. It also saves you having to worry about what sort of screws you'll need, what length and other such things, the right fixing for the job is included in the kit!

avoid planning permission

This building is under 2.5m high. This is important because under permitted development rights, buildings under 2.5m high can be placed as close as you want to a boundary (eg. a fence line) without planning permission. Buildings that are over 2.5m high, however, need to be placed over 2m away from any boundary (eg. a fence line). If you want to find out more about permitted development rights, see our planning guide
How high is this Arbour?
It is 2.03m (6' 7") high
Do you offer any guarantees or warranties on this product?
We offer a genuine 10-year guarantee against rot and insect infestation on pressure treated timber.
What timber is this Arbour made from?
We use slow-grown Spruce timber to make this Arbour. Spruce is less porous than Pine and so less likely to shrink, warp or split.

This image shows a brief reference to how your products will arrive. All of our garden buildings are made from kiln dried quality graded timber, if it is to be stored prior to construction and treatment all parts must be covered to prevent moisture from warping and rotting the timber.
