Product: Vantage 300 Traditional Summerhouse

Smashing customer service. Two-man job and a bit time-consuming putting the summer house up, but pretty straightforward. The shingle roof - very time-consuming, but worth it for the fabulous effect. Really pleased we chose this summer house; it's a stunning addition to our garden.

A quality product that had one problem. The base bearers were short by approximately 10mm. A mail to the office resulted in replacements the next day! Well done Dunster House. The subsequent assembly was fault free. We are very pleased with the end product.

Product: Vantage 250 Traditional Summerhouse

I was given this summerhouse for my 60th birthday but my wife had to pre-empt the surprise by telling me about its impending arrival so that I could prepare for it by building the foundation. She had to work hard to do extra duties to earn the money to pay for it - I had to work hard to build it! Here's a present - build it yourself! I love this kind of present and I love my summerhouse. My family know that what keeps me happy is a "doing" present. I am a CDT teacher so my view that this is a quality product is expressed with a lifetime of professional judgement in design and build. I am "altering" it a little with built in insulation, extra internal T&G cladding, lighting and power,a heated floor with slate tiles and an extension on the back to house an internally accessed cupboard (secret stache of good malt whisky). I will send you some photos when it is more complete. It did take me one day to complete the main structure but many more days are being spent on it to make it an all year round house rather than a summerhouse. I'm loving it!

Disappointed reference the tolerances some of the components had been fabricated to. Some of the larger members of the floor frame were warped. Following the removal of the doors in the course of erection, difficulties experienced in rehanging the doors as the male section of the hinge was not in line with the top and bottom. The striking plate to the door lock had been fixed upside down. Following erection looks good and with some minor additional works will provided a waterproof building. The delivery driver very helpful and polite, first class chap.
