Hi I recently purchased a Dunster House Vantage 300 Summer house. I am absolutely delighted with the product. It was nerve wracking purchasing "unseen", however, the website was encouraging and answered most of my queries and the customer service team answered the rest. The delivery driver was superb and everything was offloaded efficently and quickly. The summer house came more constructed than I had imagined and the instruction plan was so straight forward i felt i could put it together. My joiner had the house erected in a day, however the shingles took two days to put together. It would have been really helpful if they had been cut to size. Having said that I think the shingles are really good quality, finish off the look of the summer house and Im sure will last years and years and provide a good protection for the wood. We were really pleased with the quality of the wood, the cut of the wood and all the fittings. I will heartily recommend Dunster House to all my friends and colleagues - wonderful to get such a quality product at a good price and have excellent customer service. Thank you very much

Best thing we ever did. Got a handyman to put it up within one day on his own. We took the option to put in four windows and just 2 sides which allows us to look over the garden and fields. Wish we had bought the roof tiles as the felt detracts from the overall appearance. Only thing we would change is the lock as it leaves a hole showing in the wood.

Was suspicious of what sort of quality we'd get at this price.... I can say that we are amazed at the quality! Our summer house looks fantastic!! It was very easy to erect - if you can do an Ikea bookcase, you and build this summerhouse!. Wonderful product! Very very pleased!

What an excellent product and customer care. We to looked around before purchase and the quality for price could not be topped. Delivery was quick and onto the drive with help of driver. We could not put up for a couple of months due to ill health and found a part missing, one call to Dunster and they had it waiting at the counter for us. We have used Dunster for doors and windows as well and the same service and quality applies. thank you Dunster.

I have been delighted with my Valiant 350 and now it's varnished in willow with white window frames it's been getting a lot of admiration. Excluding levelling the ground and laying a base of paving slabs it has probably taken about 6 man days to finish, of which probably 2 were applying the varnish. Putting it up was all pretty straightforward. We separated all the pieces first, mapped them against everything in the instructions and it all went up fairly quickly - there were only a couple of times when we put things in the wrong way, but it's a fairly forgiving design and you can undo things pretty quickly. You can put the panels, doors and windows in pretty much any configuration - we have glass along the front and the whole of one side. I chose the felt rolls for the roof, which I think was right because the slope is so flat I don't think the tiles would really be that visible. The instructions for the felt rolls come separately and I didn't read them properly, which is my own stupid fault, so the felt took longer than necessary and needed some fixing afterwards. This is the hardest bit so I would suggest you don't do it at the end of the day. But overall a very easy thing to put up with moderate DIY skills and a really impressive summerhouse when all is done and dusted.

The 2.5m Vantage Summerhouse is looking very smart and we are very pleased with it. It took me 16 hours to complete working by myself including the roof tiles which were the fiddliest parts to cut and fix (I am 60 years old and definitely ached a bit for a few days!). There was one piece of wood missing, but it was easier for me to buy a length and cut it to shape than to get a new piece sent from Dunster. This is a good quality product and should be very easy for most practical people to assemble though, in hindsight, I suggest that it would be a lot easier and quicker for two able-bodied people than one.
