Product itself is 5 stars. However, instructions and video not so good unless you are an expert in timber building.

The product itself is good, looks great and apart from the odd piece of warped wood (to be expected) of good quality. The build instructions however were terrible, only a small part of the booklet was actually for the product I purchased and the rest general cabin building instructions. These were useful at times but not always. As someone who has not built a cabin before this led to lots of wasted time googling, watching you tube videos/Dunster videos which still were not the cabin I was trying to build and did not answer the question. An example of this was the storm bracers- I found a Dunster video explaining they needed to be around 10cm in from the corner but nowhere in the instructions or video saying which wall/walls they were supposed to go on. Maybe it didn`t matter but in the end I had to guess. Other companies (for example Ikea) understand the importance of clear instructions I do not know why Dunster cannot grasp this.

This pergola is remarkably sturdy for the price. It was delivered very quickly. It was not easy to put together so be aware that you will need several people to help. There are no pre-drilled holes. It is not a flat pack ready to assemble. But that said, if it was pre-drilled it would not be as easy to ensure it fits in the space you are building it. Drilling your own holes allows you the flexibility to make it fit where you need to.
