The Gerlinde Corner Arbour is a great product at a reasonable price.
The Gerlinde Corner Arbour was delivered to our driveway with all its parts and in good condition. The colour of the stained wood was fairly uniform and there was no warping. Most of the parts were delivered as separate items so they were relatively light to carry to the back garden. Assembly was straightforward with generally very clear instructions, although a couple of the diagrams lacked detail and took a bit of deciphering. I only started to go wrong once and, because the parts go together pretty intuitively, my mistake became clear very quickly! No harm done - just an extra screw hole or two that don't show Assembly at a leisurely pace took me a whole day. I was greatly assisted by having a long, heavy duty garden table on which to do the assembly, which saved a lot of bending and kneeling whilst drilling screw holes and screwing sections together to then fit to the growing structure. A pair of saw horses could be used instead. The end result looks just as good as the Dunster House photos and the corner arbour has added an attractive dimension to our formerly bare patio. It seats 6 people comfortably and, whilst I remember, those two lengths of 'spare' wood, which aren't included in the instructions, nicely finish the top of the seat backs and can be added right at the end! Dunster House are to be congratulated on the attractive and well thought out design of the Gerlinde Corner Arbour. A great product at a reasonable price.
