The external walls of the Addroom Garden Rooms are made from a durable and water resistant wood polymer composite (WPC) that is long lasting and easy to maintain.

The large uPVC windows and doors let in plenty of natural light and fresh air, and the wide opening French doors allow easy access. Made to a high quality specification, they feature industry leading multi-point locking systems for high security, ensuring all your treasured items stay safely locked away.

The double glazed doors and windows and fully insulated walls, floor and roof provide good thermal efficiency to help maintain the temperature inside your garden room. This ensures you can maximise the use of your garden room all year round, whatever the weather outside. The walls and floors are supplied as sandwich panels with a polyisocyanurate core. This insulation has low conductivity, giving it great insulating properties that are far superior to alternative materials such as polystyrene or rockwool. A well insulated garden room will be eco-friendly and beneficial to the environment in helping you to reduce your carbon footprint.

The Addroom can be built on to consolidated groundwork, such as concrete. The whole garden room building sits on pressure treated floor bearers, to help give it a solid foundation. Pressure treating forces wood preservative deep into the timber to ensure it is fully protected. This is why we can offer a genuine 10 year guarantee on pressure treated timbers against rot and insect infestation. The bearers are the part of the construction in contact with the cold damp ground so it is important they are protected, otherwise they could quickly deteriorate and put your garden room at risk.

According to Planning Portal, porches are considered to be permitted development, therefore typically not requiring planning permission. Luckily, ours are less than 3m2 in floor space and are under 3m in height, meaning you are less likely to have to apply.
