Overall the quality of the buildings is excellent, the wood is so thick and such good quality, ideally I would have liked a slightly bigger shed in height, loads of storage space. Aesthetically is absolutely perfect. Having checked many other sites prior to buying, nothing compares. In fact most other suppliers just resell the Dunster model.

This log cabin was easier to erect than expected because the instructions were much better than I have received from other kit type constructions that I have been involved with. I run a construction company, as it happens, am a Chartered Builder and Civil Engineer am most pleased because also the quality of the product is really very good and outstanding value. I am in the process of installing a sauna and relaxation area within the log cabin and am looking forward to spending some happy hours here. There was one small item missing which I am due to receive shortly, and this minor problem has been handled well and I appreciate it is easy for something not to be just right but what is important is that it is dealt with efficiently. Overall we are delighted - it looks great!

I would love to write a review about my new summerhouse but unfortunately it is still standing in many pieces in my carport looking very sad and unloved. This is due to the fact that I have been unable to find anyone to build a concrete base and that together with the dreadful weather has brought all proceedings to a halt for the time being. Hopefully with the coming of Spring this situation will be remedied! Then I will be in a position to give the rating many stars!!

Having spent months researching and comparing we decided on the Avon 5m by 3m log cabin. Really wish I could have gone bigger but available room just wouldn't allow it. Dunster don't do bespoke cabins but there are enough designs to find what would fit our needs. The delivery driver was helpful and gave invaluablecadvicecaboutvstackingvevetything in the correct order for ease of retrieval later ( thank you) Because my cabin was going on a block paved area whichbhas a slope my bearers needed to be cut to get the cabin level. That was pretty much the most complicated part. Once the bearers and damp proof sheet were laid and and secured the cabin was built in 3 days. I managed to do the entire build on my own but would suggest help with the roof truss as they are petty heavy. I managed to get the shingles on in hall a day and they look great. Easier to fit on a windy day than rolls of felt! The logs go together really easy but you need to check each log before you fit it to see what " bend" is on it. A couple of logs were quite bowed so these had to be left on a flat surface until the end to straighten them up. If you do your measurements and preparation on the first 2 courses the cabin goes up straight and easy. As I said before, I did this all on my own and it took me 3 days. I reckon 2 people could get the cabin up and ready for the roof covering in a day. ( I built mine in December so daylight was short) My only gripes. Instruction booklet is a bit too generic. Would be useful to have a bigger picture of the cabin so you can count the log layers for windows etc. Some of the fittings were useless. However Dunservrepkaced the very next day free of charge and these were better and stronger. I ordered the 3.5m side store. And due to the layout of my area I didn't want it on the side. As you can see by fitting ply wood as a wall to the side that would have gone against the cabin I now have a super sturdy bike shed. Will recommend Dunster cabins as they really are good quality and are easy to build.

Amazing, service, amazing delivery, amazing product (although took some serious diy skills to erect!!) Kids are in love with it and I can't get them off it!!

I done a lot of research before I purchased my Premiumplus Severn 5 x 4 metre log cabin from Dunster House. I was nearly put off by reading some poor reviews on other sites, but decided to buy from Dunster House because they were very competitively priced for the higher spec I was looking for. They also offered many different specification options to suit your needs and budget. Everything went really smoothly from start to finish and I need not have worried. The delivery turned up on time and I could track it so that I had some idea when it would arrive. All parts were in good order when unloaded and there were extra logs in case they were needed. The product is very good quality and now that it is installed and painted it looks lovely in my garden and I'm extremely pleased with it. We haven't used the log cabin yet because we are waiting for the electricity to be installed and are in the process of furnishing it. Also, the bad weather is delaying the process. I'm looking forward to finishing the project and enjoying our purchase. I will post photos at a later stage. I would recommend Dunster House to others but would advise them to have a concrete base professionally installed prior to purchase. Also, store the timbers correctly until installation. Both these actions prevent future problems. I'm a very happy customer.

We brought the squirrel fort for our 2 year old son. I wanted some thing that was going to last him a few years. We went to Dunster House where there were a lot of climbing frames to view. It was very easy to assemble so my husband says! My little boy loves the swing and the slide and I'm sure we have many more years for him to enjoy it

I am highly delighted with the cabin, it is like having a gatehouse at the manor. I could put a bed in it for guests to sleep or grandchildren in the summer. The structure is solid and so easy to erect. My friend and brother in law had it up in no time. They viewed the youtube video first and then it was up. I am painting it in pastel blue and dark oak and will upload photos when finished. I am one very satisfied customer.
