Very pleased with the Vantage 250 summer house. I had hoped to buy a log cabin for greater strength and rigidity but I need not have worried. The construction of the Vantage is very good and suited to its purpose. Fortunately the kit arrived on a dry day. The delivery driver was very efficient and helpful and the house was quickly offloaded and I stored it in a dry place until there was a long enough dry spell for construction. A friend helped me with the construction although, at a push, it could be managed by one person if you reduce the weight of the window and door panels by taking the glazed panels off their hinges first to reduce weight. The heavy duty black polythene membrane enabled us to get the roof watertight quickly and I was then able to fit the felt shingles at my leisure whenever time and weather permitted. This was the only difficult part of the job as one needs a good platform system, and space to use it, to enable one to reach the apex of the roof.

Easy to install, needs two people to complete it, my husband thinks the floor quality could be a bit better otherwise excellent. This looks lovely in our garden and awaiting the warm summer evenings to be able to sit in it and enjoy it. Would recommend this product to friends and family. The shingle is a good extra and well worth spending the little bit extra.

The quality of the wood and fittings was good. Assembly of most parts was easy even for one person. needed to check for squareness quite often. A power screwdriver almost essential. Roof a bit tricky - wraparound held with drawing pins before screwing into place. Overall well pleased with the finished product.

We spent several days erecting the summerhouse; we took it slowly as we were enjoying ourselves. One piece was the wrong one - a rail for the windows, but that was speedily replaced by Dunster House at no charge. We're absolutely delighted with the finished result and spend many happy hours in our summerhouse.

Employees at both Dunster House sales office and despatch office when ordering were excellent and competent, which gave me confidence prior to delivery. The Summerhouse was delivered on time by a helpfull driver. We have errected, easy assemble instructions to follow,and are very happy with the quality of the product. All neighbours, family and friends have enquired "who supplied" and we have been pleased to say Dunster House - i am sure more orders will be received. Excellent - sounds like a happy customer to me - correction "very" happy customer.

Dear Sir. Many thanks for your superb service regarding recent purchase of Vantage 250 summerhouse. I am receiving a lot of comments from friends & neighbors on the finished project,just installed underground armoured cable for a fan & lighting units. I have only one suggestion to perhaps improve these products,to supply windows with casement furniture to adjust opening, stopping wind from blowing back & damage glass etc I have made my own retainers. regards peter burton

excellent product, good service, easy to assemble

We are extremely pleased with our Vantage 3000 and use it most days. Very impressed with the high quality of the timber finish and how it all fitted together snugly. We did however add a few "tweaks" such as a timber strip around the edge of the roof to hide the sheeting and give added strength and a threaded rod to fix the roof cap. We would recommend this product to friends.

Great building, if quite a project to build. My son and I did it in a day and got the packing sheet over the roof before it rained. The shingles took nearly 2 days as they all have to be cut and fixing the high ones can be a bit tricky. Well worth it in the end though, we have had dinner in there quite a few times and it is really nice. The building is too nice for storage of old stuff so we bought new chairs to go in there. Great product, glad I didn't buy a shed.

Very pleased with the product was easy to put together but wished I brought a side piece especially with the summer we've had, I had to make a slight ajustment to height as I thought it was blocking next doors sunlight took 6 inches off and reajusted side pieces took all of 30 mins to complete, only disappointment was the instruction for the decking they were soaked through and I messed up on the decking by putting them to close together Personally I think instructions should be given out by the delivery driver other wise looks brill and has been used often that's when we get something called the sun which appears every now and again lol
